One of the Best Hotels in the World My two adult daughters and I just returned from 3 nights at the Rosewood Mayakoba. We had spent the first 4 nights at the Andaz next door (our third trip there) and the Rosewood is incomparable. The suites at the Rosewood are huge and well appointed. There is a peaceful, serene vibe. The service is outstanding. Our butler Valeria went above and beyond to procure for us things in our room that we wanted to buy as souvenirs. The only downside is that they tried to charge me an extra $100 per night for having 3 people in the room. The room is listed as accommodating 4 people (and, again, is huge) so I thought it was a money grab for the extra $100. They ended up waiving the fee but I was not without a big negotiation at the beginning of the stay. But while things started off on a sour note, the rest of our stay was perfect. I highly recommend the spa, Zapote, and Aqui Me Quedo and the entire adult beach area. We will definitely be returning soon (but Rosewood please get rid of the extra occupancy charge—it is so tacky).

Luxury Meets Comfort This place is a perfect example of how to blend luxury with a homey feel. Despite the high-end amenities and impeccable service, I never felt out of place or uncomfortable. Instead, I felt welcomed and valued throughout my entire stay. The staff have a knack for making you feel like a VIP while also treating you like family. It's a

Best service ever We love to travel and do not mind spending on luxury travel. This was by far the best service we have ever experienced on a trip. You have a butler you can communicate with on What’s App to arrange whatever you need but they also hang out and work from close by your room and check on you frequently as you come and go. Eduardo was incredible and came in with recommendations for dining, excursions and generally helped with anything needed within minutes. With +20 restaurants across the properties within Mayakoba there were so many options for food & beverage! The pools and beach were lovely. Never an issue getting chairs and an umbrella - not a race like many places. Every room receives bicycles and you also have the option for boat and golf cart travel. La Fondita (quick service tostados) unexpectedly wow’ed us! The spa - you can use all the amenities without a booking which was a lovely respite. The cleaning team was also outstanding - treating us to such care - even folding our dirty clothes and leaving little hand painted figurines. Could be better :: a quick service coffee / muffin counter AND music at the pool. Otherwise this is IT - seriously amazing resort that nailed it for our stay!

Well worth it! With the completion of the other properties at Mayakoba and now with the additions of the Kanai properties where Rosewood will always shine is service. If you want to be treated like kings and queens (we do) this is the brand for you. Mayakoba is not going to have the greatest beaches but there’s a reason celebrities are always staying here, it’s upscale and beautiful and self-contained. You can stay here multiple days and never eat at the same place for dinner. Feel free to contact my site if wanting more guidance/info.

The Best of Mayakoba Long overdue review of 3 stays at this beautiful property between the years 2019-2022. Because this was not a recent trip, I won't comment on the accommodations. BUt if you're in the area, you have to visit the Rosewood Mayakoba. Of all the hotels in this natural reserve, this one is the epitome of understated luxury. Food was excellent at all venues. Riding bicycles across the property was awesome and gave us a real sense of freedom. And when we wanted instant gratification, we would have our butler summon a golf cart to drive us to wherever it was we wanted to go. Mayakoba, although a man-made natural reserve, is a magical place and when you get there, you feel like you've finally arrived. Compared to the other properties in Mayakoba, what is truly unique about the Rosewood is how peaceful it is, and how few guests you run into throughout the day. We always opted for the accommodations closer to the beach and we liked it. It was a very unique feel at night, to be closer to the beach, with less people around. Can't wait to go back.
