Gross don’t ever go Disgusting, smells like mold throughout the entire facility. The owner is psychotic. You’d think he actually took care of the place the way he acted. Gross will never go back again. Pool room smelled like bleach. Just nasty

Horrible service I checked into the hotel for a golf tournament because it was the only affordable hotel that I could really afford. But throughout my stay, I encountered a lot of problems. I have never stayed at a place that doesn’t allow you to plug your fire stick or some kind of media system, into television sometimes when people like to travel, they wanna watch apps on their Firestick and just relax ,and the room TVjust kept freezing up due to the Internet and connection when I was trying to watch TV finally after a while I had to just shut off the TV because it kept freezing up and it was just get frustrating and had to watch movies on my small iPad, the microwave wasn’t working. The phone in my room wasn’t working What if there was an emergency . The light bulb in the lamp on the desk was burnt out. The shower curtain was filthy. There was a brown stain on the outside of it. And hairs on it too. There were stains all over the walls. The hotel itself just looked very rundown, including all the carpets were very stained and dirty, especially the ones in the hallways . I would say it would be a waste of my time to return to your hotel.

Close to Newport but not very clean My friend and I were looking for an affordable place to stay for visiting Newport, RI. We chose Somerset because it's about a 35 min drive to Newport. Our stay was ok but the room wasn't clean and the hotel is pretty worn and shows signs of wear and tear. Pros: comfortable bed and pillows, solid night's sleep, good air conditioning, good hot water and water pressure, quiet Cons: dirty carpet (needed to be vacuumed), cobwebs in the corners, multiple hairs in the shower and tub and on the bathroom floor upon arrival, stained sheets and towels, rough sheets, dirty drinking glasses, weird smell, peeling wallpaper, chipping paint, dirty bed skirt, filthy desk chair, dusty/dirty window sill. I wouldn't stay there again. It still felt too expensive for the quality of the room. It wasn't worth the price. I understand if they don't have the money to renovate and update the rooms, but I would expect a room to at least be clean.

Go somewhere else, I wouldn't recommend. I am not a fan. The bed sheets where stiff. Place is in need of updating. pool closed at 8. When I asked about it the next morning he said it should be open to 830 but sometimes the keep it open to 12? So no set times? I could/ should have stayed somewhere else, and saved money.

Yuck! Overpriced and gross Dirty, smelly, in need of lots of repairs, with no sound insulation. With only a thin door to a next door room you can hear EVERYTHING. Way overpriced for what you get. We came in, slept, and left as early as possible with touching as little as possible. Yuck! Stay away…
