Beautiful Ocean front hotel Such a beautiful place - the view is breathtaking - the hotel is much nicer than what I expected - we had a very large balcony with lounge chairs oceanfront - that was an amazing experience - we had dinner on the patio - they have glass protecting you from the wind and they can open the top part - such a great way of making the experience as enjoyable as possible - the hotel is grand and large but no place is crowded even during the long weekend - would definitely come back

A horror show... avoid this place if you can! Having travelled to more than 60 countries and having spend years staying in hotels, this has to be my worst experience ever of being sold a hotel suite at top pricing by a manager knowing very well that it should not even have been rented out. They were aware of the loud noises of the kitchen vent that goes past the suite on the 5th floor. Every second feels like a helicopter flying by… despite complaining every day they could not get it fixed and instead offered mediocre separate rooms which had dirty carpets and not what we had booked and paid for. The assistant manager was even reluctant of saying sorry to my wife. The GM said he can’t promise anything can be done during our stay. The irony was that we had come to the hotel not having booked yet as we wanted to ensure that we could get a suite (as I had to work and needed separate space for that). The asst manager who was on duty would not show us the room until we paid for it (her reasoning was that the room was being cleaned). Once we paid for 4 nights and came to the room we saw the horror show. When we asked if we could cancel they said that since the booking was on booking.com they could not refund us. The irony is that the staff in the cafe and restaurant have been nice and friendly. It’s just the utter abruptness, non client focus and hiding information to this degree of the booking staff that has stunned me. We had no option but to stay here but I would highly warn anyone looking to stay here to be careful and look for other alternatives.

Great hotel in a great location Great hotel with great amenities and location. We had an ocean front room that didn’t disappoint. Very roomy and clean, smelled fresh. Bathroom was great, the only thing that left to be desired was the cheap toilet paper in an expensive hotel.

Not worth the $$$$ Not what I would call a luxury hotel. We have travelled across different continents and it still amuses me that some hotels call themselves “luxury” solely because of their location. Yes, the hotel has a great location. Yes, it has a fancy look to it. But there is a long list of things that could be improved: -no complimentary water? Not even a single bottle? -nothing in the fridge? A completely empty fridge-not a single snack? -no complimentary breakfast? We were a family of 6 and had to pay on average 25 CAD per person (plus tips and gratuities of course) for breakfast! And that is on top of the 300 CAD/room per night… -no complimentary robes, no complimentary slippers? On our first full day at the hotel, the restaurant was closed and we were told that we could eat breakfast at the cafe. The cafe charges 10-14 CAD for a bagel!! Our breakfast that morning cost us 150 CAD!! In summary, a nice looking hotel and very kind, friendly staff. But it is a money trap in my honest opinion. Especially if you are traveling with kids and/or elderly.

An excellent stay This was a clean, quiet place with a really nice gym, a good pool and hot tub. It was a mini fridge, Keurig (no decaf in our room) and a microwave. Staff were friendly and the AC was good, though blowing in your face on the bed. The shower was just OK, but good enough. Our balcony faced others, so it was really nice, but did mean we needed to close our shades for privacy. A few rooms faced the waterfront and some faced forest. Overall a nice place with a great setting.
