Quite unpleasant. This place was awful. The front office is full of garbage and the check-in guys was behind what appeared to be bullet-proof glass. Lots of advertising that they have naloxone kits available for drug overdoses. The room itself was pretty grungy but the weirdest part was that there were burn holes in everything! The blankets, the desk, and even the shower curtain had multiple burn holes. We did not experience bed bugs but people were checking out whose arms and legs had clearly been eaten by bugs. I had to apologize repeatedly to my wife for booking here. It was a really low price, but still not worth it.

Great Value, Needs Lots of Repairs This hotel, in its heyday, must have been very attractive. The rooms are sizable, but very rundown and barely serviceable as overnight accommodations. Avoid the second floor if you have luggage; outside walk-up only. The hotel location and parking are good. The room needs many repairs. Although the front door has been retrofitted with new-style electronic card locks, the appearance is very poor. The carpeting needs to be replaced. Some light bulbs are out. The water fixture on the sink was very loose. The coffee maker didn't work. The remote for the TV didn't work and it took a lot of fiddling around to finally find channels. The bathtub is old-style and slick on the bottom. It needs a non-slick coating applied. In general, the room, including the bathroom, just has a shoddy appearance and needs a major overhaul. Don't expect the "free breakfast". The lobby is a tiny building. When I checked out, I saw one table at the far end of the very small room that comprises the only "guest" space by the "front desk". There was a table with one or two chairs piled on top of it. And COVID would no excuse for no breakfast. If they had anything setup, it would be unworkable. On the plus side, the bed, including the pillows, was very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep. If you're looking for economy and no frills, this is fine. If you want a hotel where everything looks good and works, spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

The worst motel i've ever stayed $90 for a bed and shower with a non-functional tv. (I thought the clerk said $19, which sounded much more appropriate.) Half the lights didn't work. Refrigerator didn't work. Crumbs on the floor. Hackensack isn't even a tourist destination, I don't understand. Parking was easy because no-one wants to stay there.

Do yourself a favor And run. Place was gross. Wasn’t vacuumed. We drive 5 hours and by the time we got there we were going to turn around but we were too tired. I wish I could get my money back. Never again. Bath tub was rusted. Never again.

It was ok, but not the best. Make reservations for the night. When I got to the place, the main entrance lobby doors glass was alll broken. I felt like the place was vandalized in away. But I was so tired and need sleep from long day of travel, didn’t asked what happen. So the room was clean, I requested one bed, but I got two. Next morning, I requested breakfast with my stay, then the lobby person says, due to covid19 no more breakfast until further notice. I was not expecting that. Overal 3.5 rating.
