Very uncaring staff We had a two day pre pay reservation. When we got here the smoke from a wildfire was persuasive. It was unhealthy for my wife and I since we are senior citizens and my wife has asthma. They would not let us out of our reservation and we were out the money. The front desk staff were rude and unhelpful. Plus you need to know they tag on 35 for a resort fee and 50 per night for dog fee even though they do not list these fees. The unit and grounds are old and in poor maintenance. Please learn from my mistake and book elsewhere

Great stay Great stay here. Last minute reservation was accommodated for very well - Eric was awesome. Great location right by the Stateline and right by the heavenly gondolas. Convenient covered parking spots. Comfortable bed.

Disappointed We were very disappointed when we saw our accommodations. The accommodations were not up to Hilton standards in my opinion. If you want to sell someone a package you don’t put them in I believe it was called an overflow property. We will not be going back.

1st time visitor to Lake Tahoe Forest Suites Resort was a very nice place to stay. We stayed using Government Vacation Rewards program (200,000) points. However, we were still expected to pay a resort fee. I guess everyone is going to this even if all amenities are not used. We took advantage of the hot breakfast. This was a great offset to the $30.00 a day in resort fees, figuring the breakfast would have cost a party of two. Our room was very clean. Housekeepers worked very hard as we saw them every day in the hallway. The pool was not up to our standard, cloudy and green looking. By the end of the week, it was much cleaner. We were within walking distance of some great restaurants, shopping and casinos.

Great location, Nasty staff attitudes. A lot of misrepresentation in the description of this place. This place charges more than what booking.com states for what they call "incidentals". The Manager on duty upon arrival was condescending and plain rude when we asked why the incidental charges was different. The coffee pot in the room did not work at all in the room, unless you like your coffee watery. These were not included in the description of Forest Suites Resort. I am sure I will share my experiences here with my friends and family. For future travelers you might want to update your ratings. Thank you
