Untrustworthy maid staff/outdated rooms. Besides the brown paper bag breakfast that is offered and the thieves that work on the cleaning staff, it’s not totally bad. That is if you don’t mind the smell of smoke (all kinds) lingering in the halls. Not to mention the outdated decor. This explains why the rooms are so cheap. There are 2-3 other options within a quarter mile that are a bit more expensive, but trust me, it’s worth it. The last straw for me was me accidentally leaving my phone and watch chargers in the room. Mysteriously, they both came up missing. I’ve requested to speak to the manager. I’m certain that there has to be a record of who cleans what rooms. I’d sure love to see how this gets handled. However, this place is a hard no for me. But it’s up to you to roll the dice on where you and your family stays.

Do Not Stay at Wyndham Garden Hotel! Don’t stay at the WYNDHAM GARDEN SOUTHGATE! We had NO hot water for 3 days. The staff kept saying it would be fixed and giving different stories as to why it ran out. The front desk manager (Natasha ) suggested I shower at 4:30 am to avoid showering while other guests were showering. (I was attempting to shower at 5:30 am). She also refused to compensate us for the Hotel having no hot water. She said our room rate was already a good rate. I was willing to put up with room keys not working properly, red juice stains on the carpet and a broken tv remote but having no hot water for THREE days in a hotel is ridiculous. Other guests staying at the hotel were having the same issues as we were. The Wyndham staff did not care at all or attempt to rectify the situation!

Don’t stay here! Don’t stay here! It’s not clean. Just avoid it. It smelled like weed amongst other things. We were assigned this hotel for a hockey tournament. Will be reporting this hotel as unfit for “Stay to Play” contract. If I could give it a minus star rating I would.

Business Traveler The hotel was very quiet. Wasn't disturbed in my room by fellow travelers or hotel staff. No super loud voices in the hallway or noise from the ice machine. However, if you are a business traveler that needs decent work space on your downtime this is not the place for you. The desk and desk chair are inadequate to say the least. I had asked the front desk for a better chair and all they had were banquet types of chairs that were straight backed.

Horrible I have stayed in this hotel a number of times . This past time when I took my daughter for a little over night get away , I was completely stunned at how delapitated the condition was. The girl at the front desk was not the happiest. She didn't tell me how to get to my room. It states free WiFi that I couldn't connect to. The TV screen in the room was purple and unable to be fixed. There were no clean pool towels. The restaurant says that it's open it wasnt . The whole place was a gost town except for the pool which was way overly busy . All in all I will not stay there again. As a Wyndham owner that was by far the absolute worst stay that I have had at a Wyndham property.
