Last Visit for a while at least, minor issues. Sadly this will probably be our last visit after frequenting once or twice a year. Firstly, when my buddy and his dad go for golf trips they book same room type as us and they have had lovely marina views. Us ladies always get rubbish 2nd floor view. Both booking twin doubles so not sure why they are treated differently. Maybe it’s because we won’t complain, but it’s frustrating. Would prefer to have the option to book a marina view. For this trip, yep 2nd floor again. But ok. Noticed a couple of minor stains on sheets but not anything major. No coffee in the room - minor inconvenience. Flush on toilet so bad you have to really push and hold for any kind of flush but ok yeah it’s minor. Had a bit of a fly issue in room but that was a Southport issue! First day no bacon for breakfast, waited and waited but gave up. What they did have was leftover stuff and it was only 9, they really were not on top of breakfast. Second day, hash browns were inedible, but as no one was taking them they didn’t refill them! Second day cards didn’t work for the room. So had to get them redone. But of a hassle. So overall nothing major but loads of little things that added up. Must say though, the guy on the bar serving food on Wednesday 9th was a credit to hotel along with lovely lady with long blonde hair who sorted our cards. Thank you

Stay On arrival beautiful area by reception to sit and enjoy a drink or just catch up. Which is Very clean and well presented. Beautiful terrace area with plenty of seating with lovely views. We did have a problem with the room. And spoke to sophie at reception explaining the situation. she was so helpful and dealt with the matter so professionally. She is a credit to the company.

Cold breakfast Visited the waterfront for two nights 5th and 6th of April, we upgraded to a better room with a sea view. First impressions the room was really clean smelt very nice and had what we needed. A closer look discovered a towel that was all marked, didn't know what was on it but we reported it to reception and they immediately contacted housekeeping to get the towel changed. Milk was also missing which was provided after we again informed reception. Carpet stained in places and pillows were also marked which we didn't notice until the following day. No pillow protectors were present which I found surprising in a four star hotel. Breakfast, everything was cold, the first day we thought it was a bad day so didn't report it, but it was the same on the second morning. Eggs brought straight from the kitchen and they were cold and like rubber. Staff standing round not clearing your dishes away so your table was laden with dirty dishes. Evening meal, what a difference, it was beautifully presented tasty and piping hot. The waiter whom served us is an asset to the hotel, he was serving at the bar taking orders for food, serving food clearing tables, obviously short staffed. We did have a pleasant stay except for the breakfast which when we informed reception when leaving the comment was we've had quite a few guests complain and that was it. Would I stay again, yes if breakfast was sorted out and other little niggles.

Amazing Hotel is very good, clean and smells amazing. The room was absolutely amazing, one of the best hotel rooms i have stayed in and the hotel had a great interior, the food was absolutely brillent and so good for what you payed, the location was excellent and the underground car park was very convenient. But despite all of this, there is a couple of things that could do with improving. Firstly, the Menus, I am not talking about the stuff on the menus, I am talking about the look of the menus. They are paper, and personally doesn’t go very well with the hotel. Secondly, the flush on the toilet, they was really stiff and hard to use. Lastly, there was no soap in the bedroom bathroom, overall I had a great stay and the staff was beyond helpful! Thank you for a great stay, and can’t wait to stay again.

Recommended Had an overnight stay here last weekend. In general we were very impressed with the hotel. Great location, lovely large room, very clean, bar area very nice, great car park. Few small niggles- very poor choice on menu in the restaurant, so much so we felt obligated to eat out, service in bar lacking ( only one person in attendance who then disappeared for a while), very restricted breakfast though hotel apologised- staff issues. In general we really enjoyed our experience but felt it could have been enhanced easily with better service and attention to detail. Having said that we would stay again without hesitation.
