A typical unit This is a typical unit of Holiday Inn. Check in and check out was efficient and friendly. The two elevators were working. Everything was very clean. There is adequate seating in the rooms. Soap, shampoo and conditioners are pumped from dispensers. There is adequate parking. Restaurants are within a short drive. Although close to the interstate we heard very little noise. My one small complaint is that the toilet could have been about two inches taller. Otherwise I would consider another stay when visiting the area.

Great place to stop along I-85 On my drive north from Atlanta, this was as far as I wanted to go on the first day, and it was a great stop. I wasn't there in time to shop at the outlets, but they are super close. There are lots of restaurants at the next exit, though construction makes it hard to get there----but the hotel desk clerk told me about another way to get there, using local roads. I recommend Daddy Joe's Beach House BBQ and Grill. You can also buy fabulous SC peaches and other produce at Abbott's or Strawberry Hill right next tot the hotel. My room was clean and comfortable, and I had an excellent night's sleep. Two reasons for Very Good instead of Excellent: the towel rack was hanging and not usable, because of a missing bracket. The front desk clerk said that it had been reported to maintenance. And the pen on the table broke into two pieces when I removed the cap....strange.

Don’t Worry be Happy The Hotel is nice. They are in the process of renovation but they are keeping it safe and clean for their guest. I was greeted at the front desk by Kiara Scott she was very helpful and knowledgeable of the hotel and surrounding restaurants close to the hotel. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Best staff!! Yeah, we had some issues with the room, life isn’t perfect. But, each one was addressed quickly and with respect and friendliness. The breakfast buffet room was spotless and a most attentive lady made sure we were well taken care of. We would stay there again, for sure!

OK but no great shakes. This was both a thumbs- up and thumbs-down place. It's a fairly new property with comfortable furnishings — TOO comfortable when it came to the bed, which had a too-thick pad beneath the bottom sheet, making sleep difficult for one who prefers stiff beds. The breakfast was standard fare; nothing remarkable. The staff was pleasant. More and more properties have only skimpy blankets on their beds, so I'd suggest you bring a snug one from home if you're driving. If you want one of those little, free, plastic bags in which to shove used undies, etc., you'll be lucky if even the front desk has one to give them. And ALL IHG properties have substituted bolted-down pump body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and (liquid) soap for the old, nicer individual toiletries. A few places don't have a clock in the room any more, so bring one of those, too. The biggest disappointment here (fortunately found and squashed right before checkout) was a small roach — and not the smoking kind — in the room.
