Beautiful escape PROS: Everything was perfect! Except the weather could have been cooler. Our room was a corner room with a large space and large bathroom. We did not use the hotels room service or restaurant. The pool was refreshing and usually not very busy at all. The elevators to the main floor, our floor and to the pool were clean and marked clearly for covid precautions. There was enough parking under the facility in the garage. There usually was clean trash bins. Occasionally they were filled and over flowing. The grounds were beautiful. Service was A+. CONS: The pool was never open at 8 am. There were times that the pool didn't open until 11am and required us a few times to call or visit the front desk to enter the pool. There was poor ventilation in the first floor garage lobby and in the hallways to the rooms. Which made it a very long exhausting walk to the pool (which took 2 elevators to get to). But the second floor garage lobby was well ventilated and cool. It was never a quick walk from the garage to the room and then to the pool. Most times we tested before going to the pool. The areas that used to be their outdoor dining were unkept. For 3 nights in a row the same glasses from the bar and garbage were sitting outside in the Terrace area. And it seemed to grow each night. Other than this, everything was amazing. I would go back.

Even made the horse shoe course into a sandbox (might want to add one, have plenty of room!!)Had an amazing time at the pool with the Shag club other other clubs and they all took care of us . Love _ this hotel and it’s walking distance to Main Street if you need to leave . We didn’t !!!

Good hotel for family and business Our family stayed for three nights with our sons baseball team. This is a great hotel. It is very nice and would make a nice business hotel. If you are going to Wofford or Converse this is a great hotel. The pool is large and nice. It has a huge field behind it where all of the kids played Wiffle Ball and football. The bars area is large and plenty of room for everyone to meet in there and hangout. The location is excellent for the colleges and downtown. The drawbacks are getting coffee and getting housekeeping. Housekeeping is a Covid factor but you miss it when you are in there for days. Nice hotel

Used to be our go-to for our regular visit but may be our last Nice curb appeal. Nice entrance. Nice enough rooms. Clean. Nice indoor/outdoor lounge areas downstairs. Some lawn games. Fridge, good mattresses, sheets. Free parking. WIFI is kinda free but make sure you pick the right option or qualify/are given the free version. Thin towels. Minimal amenities and service hours for them. Not the luxurious stay it once was or the price suggests. Booked 5 nights as it has been our go-to for years. Even 2x last year in the midst of COVID outbreak. Adjustments made then were reasonable and appreciated. That said, those "unusual circumstances" are behind us but current service and amenities don't reflect that. *First room was by the vending machines and elevator. And had a shared door with another room. Was noisy and had requested to be high on the end when booking. Toilet stopped up several times. It took 5 minutes to clear the shower drain to not shower in standing water. Did get another room after some conversation of being "sold out"... how many floors and rooms are there here...? *Called 2x this AM to order breakfast. Went to voicemail so no breakfast. Limited options. $12 breakfast was told at check-in but menu was limited. We'll check tomorrow if that is maybe an inperson buffet ...? Not very clear and don't see it listed on the menu nor did front desk offer any info when I called asking for breakfast. No room service. QR code for dining options doesn't work. No "fancy" coffee after breakfast hours and didn't say that on the menu. No lunch offerings. Going to be a long day... no breakfast. No coffee. No Lunch. And rain is threatening to no walk to square. Not very walkable. Do have an airport shuttle but nowhere else. Town square is quaint and walkable but is a pretty good walk. No grocery or convenient stores in walking distance.

Not bad, not great Stayed here for 3 nights during a family trip. The beds were very nice, pillows were a little soft, the room was very clean and comfortable and many of the staff was friendly. Now on to the negative!! The night of check in, the staff failed to mention that the hotel tub was out of service. Dining is very limited and costly, the Starbucks shuts down by noon so don't expect any coffee after that from there, if you need new towels you have to go to the front desk and retrieve them yourself, and they fail to mention that if you're not a rewards member then you're charged $6.95 a day for internet service. The concerning issue is that there was a fire alarm one night during my stay, and the warning strobe in my room , let alone the entire floor failed to activate! Only the P.A system activated in the room's and hall, no warning strobes. When front desk was notified of this, the gentleman acted like he could have cared less about this issue. This is a problem especially for the hearing impaired guest who may stay here, visual support is highly important to them!
