The Rennald & Dexton Show There were extenuating circumstances that caused my wife and I to wind up in Grenada that being said everyone there was very enjoyable but there were two young men that had exemplary customer service skills and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Rennald and Dexton are two of the most amazing people we have ever met!!!!! They went out of their way to make us feel so comfortable that before we left they referred to my wife and myself as Aunt and Uncle and we were calling them our nephews because they absolutely made us feel like we were a part of their family. They should be revered and acknowledged for the way that they navigate and do their jobs you do not find skilled young men like those two young men they made the trip absolutely worthwhile ______

Amazing Sandals Grenada Staff My trip to Grenada was amazing! The staff was amazing from the time we arrived until the time we departed. The amenities were very clean and the food was the best I've had at a Sandals Resort thus far. I want to give a shout to Chef Anton for the amazing Oil Down! I was most impressed with professional ism of Anil. Anil provided top notch service daily no matter his role. Anil made sure we were comfortable and stress free! Anil always greeting us with a smile. Shereen at the swim-up bar served the most amazing drinks daily! She kept the party going! And Javon (Soco Jeff) was the life of the party! Very entertaining, funny, and kept the drinks coming. We felt the love from our staff! Lastly, our amazing house keeper Sandra kept our room spotless daily. We appreciate how Sandra made us feel like we were entering a new room daily! We will definitely return soon!

Another great trip Been 6 times and going back in April to enjoy our free week. It’s an amazing resort with amazing staff, great food and beautiful well maintained grounds. Shoutouts to Chrissy, Mario, Micah, Javon and Sherene from pool bar. Victor from pool maintenance was the sweetest guy who never failed to wish you a good morning.

Lived up to and exceeding expectations Great location, beach and beautiful resort! We dive with sandals so we have our first day on resort to acclimate and it was enjoyable. We stayed in a luxury level walkout lagoon room and they actually looked like the nicest on resort (apart from maybe the rondovals but they looked central so could be noisy?). Having visited Sandals frequently at different levels we tried Lux here because we preferred the room. The resort was one I wanted to go to since it opened over a decade ago so I had a lot of expectations from this trip! We befriended John in loyalty pretty quickly and he kept things smooth for us. The loyalty team are always worth a visit for booking another trip as you get a good discount. My partner had gone all out for my birthday and John knew about this so kept him right on anything that needed finalising in the plans for timings and menus etc. Taking ownership was above and beyond as we are concerned and so super grateful! Diving was very good, I believe a new dive shop manager is starting. It felt a little disjointed at times (especially as some staff had annual leave plans so had to adapt). We had Travis as our instructor as I did my advanced PADI while out there. He was great fun and lovely to dive with! We saw turtles, stingrays, sharks and plenty moray! Shawn the boat captain was outstanding on the island tour by boat (free for guests) get a seat upstairs though as unless they got a PA system (as suggested to management) then you won’t hear a great amount! Anyone wanting to do the sculpture park book through the dive shop as it’s a direct boat and amazing! I always find the photography massively overpriced but we indulged Sheldon daily with my dresses as I’m a fashionista and then did a photoshoot on our last evening at sunset in place of engagement photos. We spent a small fortune on the pics but it was worth it. Sheldon took some stunning shots and was a joy to work with! My birthday was quite the event and wonderfully executed with a private beach dinner, balloons and cake with champagne in the room and a private tour my partner organised showing us around the island. The highlight was bumping into Rohan who is now managing Grenada who we got to know from Halcyon! Food is always mixed at Sandals and our only complaint is breakfast at 7:30 when we need to be at the dive shop for 8 being a little tight. Opening at 7 would have been better for the divers! We enjoyed an early morning beach walk each day and trying to locate coffee was a little tough in comparison to other resorts. Getting a machine rather than an insulated dispenser may help with this! We got engaged before coming home which was the highlight of our trip! We honestly had such an amazing time while we were there! Will of course be booking a sandals wedding for 2026 and have Barbados booked for 2025. We try to get away often as we both work full time it’s not easy but this is the proper vacation trip whereas others are usually more active or city breaks. Grenada lived up to my hype so I’m happy I booked it’s

Less Than Luxurious My husband and I recently returned from 6 nights at Sandals Grenada for our honeymoon. While we enjoyed our week together and got some much needed relaxation, I will admit we were quite disappointed with the accommodations and experience at Sandals Grenada. This was our first time booking a trip with Sandals and my husband and I agreed that it will likely be our last. Sandals advertises luxury experiences and excellent service, neither of which were apparent to us. Our room looked vastly different from the photos online (which showed a 4 post bed and more upscale looking furniture and decor). We did not receive housekeeping or turn down services for the first two and a half days, despite being out of the room all day with our housekeeping light on. By day 3, we discovered that they would come to our room for the first time during the day after 3pm, a realization we discovered when we went up one afternoon hoping to shower and saw that they were there. The food at the resort was less than impressive, lacking flavor and often being served at room temperature. Once our orders were taken and food was served, we often didn't see another server pass us for the remainder of our evening. The candlelight dinner we reserved also felt like a waste of money once we realized it's just the food from each restaurant at the resort that's offered. Majority of the staff was friendly for the most part, but we quickly realized that we were treated much differently from the guests who booked butler suites. I understand those rooms and guests get priority, but we often felt completely ignored and overlooked which was disappointing, especially on an occasion as special as our honeymoon. For a while, we wondered why we had to provide our room number upon entering the resort restaurants but quickly learned it may have been an indication of the level of service and food we could expect to receive (after comparing notes to another couple we met who had a butler suite). I spoke to a friend of mine who frequents Sandals St. Lucia and she confirmed that the one year she and her husband did not book a butler suite, they had a vastly different experience from years past. To top it all off, upon checkout, we were overcharged for sunscreen purchases (we purchased 2 but were charged for 3), which we were told at 11am would be corrected as we checked out. When we boarded the shuttle to head to the airport at 1pm, the staff prevented us from leaving claiming we did not check out. My husband was at the front desk trying to explain the situation to them for 15 minutes, all while holding up other passengers in the shuttle. Finally, we just said "whatever" and overpaid in order to leave. I've contacted Sandals Customer Support regarding the overcharge but haven't heard back yet. Overall, we did not feel like we received our money's worth during our stay. There were several other examples of this that affected our experience, but the best way to summarize it was that everything was "good enough", but nothing was great. Frankly, I've stayed at Marriott's that provide a higher level of service and luxury than what we experienced. I'm not sure if all of this was location-specific or just a result of booking a more affordable room option, but hope this feedback can advise others considering booking Sandals Grenada.
