An Awful Experience I visited this Forest Park Hotel May 24, 2024. I have been all over the world and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. When you enter the stinch met you at the door. We had to prepare for a graduation and did not have time to cancel at thqt time. The toliet when flushed made a very loud sound, bad plumming I assume. When we returned back to room the key did not work, had to get a new key each time we leave the room. In making reservations it stated continental breakfast. We only got coffee. The lights did not work in the room, just the lamp light on the night stand. We really need a refund for our inconveniences. I would have given a lower rating but I felt it would not been posted. Way better than past reviews make it sound Was concerned when I read about bed bugs. But we stayed and glad we did. Desk staff; Joanna, was very kind and sweet. Checked room immediately found no bugs. Not super luxurious but it was great for the price. Nice area for food; though none here at the hotel. Bed was comfy and they allow dogs. Would stay again.

Not the best but not the worst. After seeing the reviews about bed bugs I didn’t want to book here but we needed a last minute hotel for the night. After staying the night I can say that we had a great experience. This hotel was close to downtown and a great price. Customer service was on point. The room was clean and comfortable. Cons: Cigarette smell throughout lobby and elevator. The room patio door doesn’t close fully and lock. We were on the side of the Main Street so we heard the cars all night. Not the most aesthetically pleasing room. There were a lot of minor scratches and stains in the room. The linen was clean but the mattress itself had a lot of hair and crumbs on it. Trash under/behind bed. The shower had a lot of dirt stains in it. The toilet doesn’t flush well. A lot of the outlets do not work in the room. I think if these things were to be fixed this would be a top accommodation. Overall, since we were looking for a last minute 1 night stay this place was a great accommodation for us. But would definitely not come back for an extended stay unless the issues were dealt with.

Bed bugs!!! This hotel has bed bugs! The GM would not refund my stay costs after I had to go to the Dr. For the bites and she also blamed it on the corporate clothing company factories that I work for. My company legal department is now involved. The health department has been advised of the situation and are making a second visit to the property as the visit report last week showed proof of bed bugs in my room. I requested 8 nites to be refunded and the GM told me I wasn’t the first person to try that with her. I am stunned and disgusted that this property is in business.

No housekeeping I am currently staying here, reserved for 7 days. I've been here now for 4 nights and have not had room service done once. I requested it three times. The second time the lady at the front desk told me they were making the rounds and I need to be patient. The third time I called at night and they mentioned they have me down for 10 AM the next morning (today). At noon I called again and they seemed to be unaware of the above 10 AM assignment and the guy said he's making a note again. Not very happy with this situation. I'll update again after my stay.
