So lovely I had such a great experience at the Amsterdam Hotel! I was there on a film shoot and the staff were the kindest people we could have asked for. It was such a lovely community of people to be around. The rooms were clean and quiet and the beds super comfortable. I got a great sleep every night. Thank you everyone at the Amsterdam Hotel!

Good for the price Hotel was nicer than expected given the price. Ac worked. Beds ok. Carpets were pretty dirty. Fridge worked. Actually some good places to eat in walking distance. Not a huge walking area but plenty of parking. Breakfast was muffins, bagels, cereal but nothing cooked. Bit coffee was good! All in all I’d say doable for what it is. Staff was extremely friendly.

Good price/value, great staff, super clean - but outdated decor and a bit noisy Super-friendly and accommodating staff! Convenient location and easy access to downtown, I-95, train station, plus many restaurants are walking distance and there is a large walgreens across the street. Plenty of parking. The room was very clean and large - included a small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and extra towels. The TV and microwave were new and internet worked great -- but the rest of the room was quite dated/worn -- feels like a 1990's roadside motel (I got a laugh at the vase of fake flowers sitting in fake-water that looked 20+ years old). However, it's very clean, everything worked fine. Note there is some road and train noise all night -- it's very close to train station and I-95, many large trucks passing and occasional loud train horns. I was in room 501 which faces the highway and MetroNorth tracks -- I would ask for a room facing the other direction next time. Given the price was a lot less than other properties nearby, I would stay here again for a quick night or two.

Kind & helpful staff Very dated but the reception staff was wonderful. I had an issue with my check in and the gentleman was helpful and able to resolve it quickly. For the price, clean and comfortable. Would stay again.

Location great, Everything else not so much! This hotel is very dated but pretty clean. The bed is hard as a rock. The neighborhood is sketchy and the train station is noisy. Continental breakfast was limited and Indian Male at checkout was rude. The only good was the location to what we were in town for (Mainly the Elm Street Diner)!
