Absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! DIRTY AND RUN DOWN!!! YUCK! The bed was super comfortable but everything else was really bad. The front desk after 6pm is not helpful or pleasant. The morning staff is way better but we asked for two towels twice so we could check out and I am still waiting for it. When I told the lady at the front that I had to go and find two towels myself, she giggled as if it was a joke. The upkeep is not good. The rooms are moldy and the bathtub was filling with water. The room was not cleaned properly and someone else's washcloth was left in the room. The room smelled dirty and the counters were not clean. They had no soap or anything in the room. The towels were not even white. There is no comforter on the bed. I am a platinum rewards Marriott member and this is why I don't ever stay anywhere except Marriott. Don't stay here. It is giving homeless shelter - la quinta inn-. A pretty lobby does not make up for a broken pool, dirty room and unpleasant hosts. they should sell it back to Marriott. Terrible and zero stars if I could.

The Stamford hotel AWFUL!! We’re very disappointed of this. I was paid for 179$ of double bedroom. We’re think free hotel can provided for dinner, breakfast and etc. Also we’re already know that other hotel will be always provided free for dinner, breakfast, etc but it’s not free.__‍♀️ so I was into to hotel to met office, they’re ask to me, I have to get other paid 100$ for damage for hotel bedroom. They’re gave to me card a bedroom then I was into to bedroom. I notice to some damage in room but they’re never fix the room that mean hotel used their’s people’s money for 100$. They’re ask to me for 3days will be back for 100$ my bank but I hope they’re should have back me 100$ for bank, but I was into bedroom then I was take a pics some there damaged room for evidence make sure we are not damage them room. The maid manger not put garbage bag for a bedroom, bathroom garbage bag and no hand soap there. Also we’re into to hotel pool, we notice start smell BLEACH or something CHEMICAL so strong stink smell. The stamford hotel are so thirsty their people’s money, negative fee. The hotel is not friendly of deaf peoples disability the office one woman is gave of us attitude. PLEASE DON’T PICK OF THIS HOTEL NOT GO IT BAD AND WASTE UR MONEY.

Someone please explain the Lobby pictures Can anyone tell me why all the pictures in the lobby have women with their mouths covered? Why? Beautiful hotel but all the pictures feature women with something over the mouth from armor to cloth. Beds and pillows are very comfortable, room is clean. Alarm clock does not have a cord to plug in though

Dust and Mold The rooms were very old. I can't imagine how old the bed mattresses were. Dust and mold found in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air purifiers were in some rooms and filters were filed with dust. Mold was all around windows. Room even smelled of the dust and mold.

Cheap Convenient Option Instead of Overpriced NYC Hotel My sister and I stayed here for one night and it worked out perfect. We were heading into NYC early the next morning so we needed somewhere cheap and easy to get to the city from. It is a 20min walk or 5min drive from the Stamford Train Station. The person at the front desk was friendly during check in. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was also a good size. Would definitely stay here again.
