Holes in the Blankets Went to the Penn Stater for a reunion. There were no blankets or coverlet on the bed, only a top sheet. When I asked for a blanket I was given one with holes, many holes. I asked for another, and got a second blanket with holes. I thought it was kind of gross, were they mouse holes????

Needs Total Reno and Outside Management Team Quite frankly, the hotel is not befitting Penn State. It is a nothing but a cheap Holiday Inn at this point - everything feels cheap. Blankets were delivered that had holes in them and were not in plastic bags. No idea whether they were laundered; shower curtain was broken; the whole place smells of hay, paper products like toilet tissue were cheap off-brand; needs a total gut job. I can’t believe Penn State would have conferences here. There is a school of hotel management at PSU. Do those teaching that coursework know what a representation this hotel is? It needs a lot more than minor guest room renovations.

Absolutely filthy and disgusting We tried 3 different rooms on our stay. Filthy, stained carpets. Visible black mold on grout in the bathroom, sofas with stains and collapsed cushions, thin sheets that you could see the stained mattress below. Food at the restaurant was inedible. Gross!!

Only stay here if you have to for a conference otherwise look elsewhere If you stay in the old section, just turn around and stay somewhere else. I have to say the service of people work. There are very pleasant and helpful. However, there was no air conditioning in our conference because it was broken so we couldn’t even attend half of the sessions. The pool area is over overdue for renovation probably about 25 years ago and don’t even bother with the Gardens restaurant stick to Legends
