Sad lots of potential Shen we saw this place it was beautiful form outside a serious vacation resort lots of land with potential When I booked it stayed in my packages tennis beach included kayak etc... when we arrive everything was closed do to short staff and they were preparing for a wedding two days before so they beach chairs were locked no tennis racquets no service My kids were so sad This place is beautiful and they can turn this into a resort lots of party space or maybe even a jazz bar something g It’s sad The rooms weren’t cleaned I had to go to another room to get covers But like I said understaff this hotel can be a vacation location it’s truly beautiful location I would go back looking this summer only if âneries are open and we were paying guest and to be told they r too busy to serve me due to a wedding was insulting

L'endroit parfait pour y faire votre mariage! The perfect spot for a wedding! We had our wedding here in July 2018. We absolutely loved the entire experience! The wedding coordinator, Isabelle, is incredible at her job. She helped us with advice and ways to save money on absolutely everything. They were flexible and accommodating and the only place we found (from perhaps 100 places we emailed) who could accommodate us having an ethnic midnight buffet which was not made by them. We also want to thank Michel, the manager, for everything he did for us on the night of the wedding and also for helping with dismantling everything the next day! Now, for the rooms: our suite was incredible, clean, comfortable and it felt like a 5* hotel. The service was great too, we asked for an extension cord on the day of the wedding and 5 minutes later it came. Overall, a great experience. The only issue we had was that at checking, at 4pm, certain rooms weren't ready yet (checkin is 4pm) and some of our guests had to wait half an hour to one hour more for their key cards and rooms. This was the night before the wedding so thankfully there were no issues or conflicts with the ceremony. The next day, they advised me which rooms were ready in advance (like at 12pm), and so our guests could check in early! Which was a great way to recuperate the frustration from the day before. I also heard that one AC unit in one of the rooms was not working, thankfully it was relatively cold during that time so it was not needed. We did not try to change that room. The breakfast buffet is great, so much choice and enough to eat even for vegetarians. The view in the morning was incredible from the table. The personnel was attentive and responsive at breakfast. We also ordered some food from the restaurant one evening and it was really good. It's a beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting, a nice beach and a tennis court that is in dire need of renos. I hope they will get to renovate fully the entire hotel soon, it would make it an even more amazing place! Oh and we used the pool and the hot tub, the facilities were clean and the service was great!

What a complete and utter dump, and that’s being kind I’m typing this as I sit in my “suite” of which I paid $235 a night for. I’m attending a friends anniversary here and booked this room months ago. If you go on the website and look at the suites you will see you are supposed to get 2 bathrooms. Here’s mine. There’s not even a shelf to put your toiletries on so they are on the floor. Dresser? Not a chance. Yes, NO DRESSER Closet? Here it is. View? Your big balcony? Not even a chair and that’s a plastic cup filled with cigarettes on the balcony I share with the room next door. They literally have a pole in a hall outside the toilet on which we are to hang our clothes. Bedding? Disgusting polyester unwashed garbage. Sheet has a hole in it. Did I complain immediately? You bettcha. Rude and condescending manager on front desk, and if you’re not fluent in French forget about it, yes I’m Canadian and I speak some French. There’s no other rooms available in this dump. Oh and they charge you full amount before you even see your room!! Run don’t walk away from this disaster. The worst hotel, by far, for the amount they charge, I’ve ever stayed in.

Poor management We recently attended a wedding at this Hotel. Unfortunately there was 2 other weddings there at the same time and the hotel clearly could not handle the volume. When I say “at the same time” I’m mean literally at the same time. Our cocktail reception was right beside the other wedding and it was difficult to discern which bar to go to or which waiter was ours. When it rained, the tent the hotel set up for our party was not in our reception area but rather right beside another poor couple who was having their wedding ceremony. So literally there was 150 people under a tent (just a tent - no chairs or tables) talking and laughing beside 25 feet from this couple and their party exchanging vows. Dinner (a buffet) was supposed to be served between 6:30-7 and it wasn’t ready until 9. The wedding on the part of the wedding party and their families was wonderful and the guests were easy going and had a wonderful time (including myself) so it at least the bride and groom had a wonderful day - despite the service issues. In addition the hotel needs some service maintenance. Walk ways are damaged with stones missing from the interlocking pathways, paint is chipping from almost all areas and for some strange reason they had the heat turned on in the hotel. It’s very sad because the location and scenery is beautiful.

Quiet, good food, nice rooms - Perfect for a getaway. If you are looking for American tackiness and brass, this is not the place. But to get away and decompress, this hotel is perfect...well-appointed rooms, access to a beautiful vista over a lake, good food and reasonable rates all topped off by Quebec charm and excellent service! And above all = peace and quiet! We were pleased.
