Not what we expected... We did not like the service we received at this hotel. They listen but don’t hear you. We waited an hour for room service and over an hour for breakfast and our dinner last night. They also don’t pick up their phones, whether reception, spa or reserving a seat at dinner, forget it!!!! You get answering machines. You’re on your own for towels and to get your room replenished the second day of your stay, they won’t make your room. The room keys don’t open the doors from the parking lot but they are supposed to. We had to walk around the hotel. We won’t be staying here again.

The Staff is their greatest asset Went there for a conference, and my room was on the second floor, it took me 4 days to figure out how to get to it.... the power went out in my room when i tried to blow dry my hair, the parking arm never worked properly, empty vending machines, and the list goes on. The only thing I can say is the staff goes over and above to accommodate and please you, but the place is a mess imo for a 5 star

This star is burning out... This has been my sixth trip to the Bonne Entente.Unfortunately this hotel is losing it's stars at every trip. What happened to free parking,a doorman that opens the door for you,a service staff that listens to your complaints ( we had none before) and a service that made you come back time and time again. I know that the old section of the hotel is cheaper in price then the Urbania section, but for a 5 star hotel, the cheap section should at least have been remodeled ( ouffff...carpets,beds,showers,heater). How about more wall outlets for our pads and phones...and a bluetooth speaker that is easy to pair..it's like the Urbania section was 2020 style and that the "cheap section" was 1990's... As for the housekeeper that forgot to lock our room after she forgot to ad towels...good thing nothing was stolen..by the way,the lame excuses from the front desk and housekeeping staff did not make us feel very good about our visit.I have never had this happen in 41 years of travel. On a more positive note..the food at the Monte Carlo was good and the wait staff was nice. The bartender at the bar on the 14th of febuary under poured our drinks..could be more generous in her free pouring.. The morning buffet was good and was included in my gift package. So my fellow TripAdvisor's..book in the Urbania section ( try to bargain a price) because the old section is pretty bad for the price. I wish this place was as good as it used to be..maybe that's why it's not the Chateau Bonne Entente anymore...they lost the Chateau and a lot more.

Superb estate and great stay! We loved our stay at the Château Bonne Entente. Even if we are locals, we enjoyed a weekend away and the luxury of the establishment. The hotel restaurant is fabulous, great breakfast (à la carte) and for dinner. The wine selection is fabulous.

A nice option in Quebec City however a bit far from Upper and Lower Town I love this hotel. It has nice big modern rooms for a reasonable price. It is a 20-25 minute taxi drive to Lower or Upper Town Quebec. I would say being far from the city would be its only convenience. We stayed only one night because the next day we were driving to The Charlevoix area. We took a room in the Urbania section of the hotel. It is a bit further from reception however the rooms are very nice and quiet. When you book this type of room you have access to happy hour from 5 to 7pm with free snacks. It also has a nice pool. The restaurant in the hotel also has good food and the breakfast is very nice too. It is a nice option if you are in Quebec City area.
