Don't work Sundays and Mondays?? My friend and I had booked a two-night stay at the Parlour Inn from a Saturday through to a Monday. We booked a few weeks ago and were only just called to be told the Parlour Inn is closed on Sundays and Mondays for the foreseeable future? No explanation was given but to say that the online booking system isn't working. If that were the case, why only inform us now and not immediately after we booked? The problem has clearly been going on for awhile. My friend and I had to scramble to find a new place to stay. I gave two stars because the person on the phone was polite and offered to find another place for us to stay. We decided to cancel the Saturday as well and booked another place on our own. If this were peak season pre-COVID, we would have had to cancel our trip. I have never heard of a hotel deciding not to be open two days a week, and certainly not for notifying customers within a few days of booking (instead of a couple of weeks). Really disappointed, and just plain confused.

Girls Time Away Thoroughly enjoyed our sister's stay at this Heritage hotel. Edward, who was our first point of contact for our two night three day stay ensured that anything we requested was brought to the room almost promptly. It is a lovely hotel. Our suite was spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The location is convenient. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. And hopefully Edward will still be there.

Quaint Hotel Vintage looking hotel with all the amenities one would need. Within walking distance of all Stratford has to offer. Charming to say the least. Definitely worth the stay! Nice to have the convenience of a full service restaurant downstairs too.

Inconsistent food 3 weeks ago ordered take out fish and chips. Fish was cooked to perfection with the batter golden and slightly crispy exactly as we like it. Chips were good and the meal came with a small tartar sauce in a container and a red cabbage coleslaw also in a container. So one week ago decided to order same. Amazing how things changed!! The fish was dry and way overcooked, batter very thick and again overcooked. The chips were fine but the coleslaw was just literally thrown into the container with the fish and chips and not in a small container as in previous order. We will not return as the chances are 50/50 on getting either a good or bad meal. Not acceptable.
