Don't care is the theme here. Up to the usual (low) standard I often see at an HGI. This one was last cleaned properly before COVID and the main issue is staffing. The receptionist was the rudest, most disinterested person I've had the displeasure of interacting with. The whole interaction just left me shaking my head as to how someone with such poor interpersonal skills could end up in this customer-facing position... The room itself was tired, dirty and depressing. It was a suite, but the main room was a huge space with a single sofa shoved in the corner. The bed was very worn, with a big impression in the space where 1000's of bodies have been before. The shower was a walk in that left a huge pool of water on the floor and the water took ages to run warm. Breakfast was another example of where cost-cutting is king. There was one server and one cook, and it took 30 minutes to get an omelette . I don't blame the server, she was running around like crazy, there just weren't enough staff for the volume of people at breakfast. There was also a very poor selection of fruit, yogurt etc. Just minimal effort. Overall a very disheartening stay. I won't be coming back!

Worst Hotel Experience Ever! Upon 6PM arrival our first bathroom sink did not drain, the blackout shades went down only halfway, and the phone was dead so we could not call the front desk. They fixed the drain, but the shades and phone were beyond repair by maintenance. They assigned what they claimed was their last available room where we found that the toilet did not flush. We had to stay up until 11PM while maintenance fixed it with some difficulty, but the fix failed on first use in the morning. The staff said the hotel was going to be renovated soon and that there were problems. The staff were as nice and helpful as they could be under the circumstances. We felt bad for them having to deal with rooms that Hilton Garden Inn management knew, or were responsible to know, were unusable.

Good place, little far from Norfolk airport. Good place to stay however few drawbacks. I had some billing issue, but next day got it fixed. Not a friendly conversation when asking for the refund/ diamond breakfast credit. But otherwise ok if you are looking to stay in this area.

10/10 for this hotel!!! The whole hotel was clean and smelled clean throughout. The carpet in our room was clean and didn't have that gross "film" a lot of other places have on their carpets. The room was wonderfully roomy (King Jr. Suite) and had 2 televisions, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The microwave was a sight for sore eyes, considering we had just left a very upscale Mariott we had been in for a week that didn't have microwaves in the rooms. There were two nice patio areas outside for evening gatherings when it wasn't so hot out, and it is located in walking distance from a great pub called Decent People that had self serve taps and great food. It is also located within 1.5 miles of many restaurants, a Kroger, pharmacies, and many other common shops you find in upscale strip shopping centers. The location was safe, and the hotel was nicely nestled adjacent to a golf course community. Great location, great hotel!!
