Never again During my recent trip to Tacoma, I checked into this property. Unfortunately, I had to check out 30 minutes later with Cathy at the front desk, as the room and property did not have the amenities I needed for my business trip. When I called the hotel to ask for a refund, the General Manager Jessica Christensen said that they do not have a record of me checking out, and because of that, they charged me for a 2-night stay. She said she is not able to issue a refund, but I know that is not true, as I stay in hotels for business about 100 nights a year. In the last decade, I have never had a hotel GM treat me with such disrespect. As a result, I do not plan to stay at any Choice Hotels moving forward for my business travel.

No bed, no soap, no hairdryer, no hot water -- but we did get breakfast in a bag! The worst stay ever at a hotel which cost $470/night (a Tacoma Dome concert night). Checked in with our family of 4 and was given a room with one double bed; no sofabed and not even a Queen bed as reserved. Was told by front desk there was nothing they could do. Asked if there were rollaway beds so that we wouldn't need to sleep on the floor -- was told the hotel did NOT have any rollaway beds! Tried to take a shower and not only were the shampoo & conditioner dispensers empty, but the water was only lukewarm and the tub tap was about one-inch falling away from the tiles -- really bad condition. No hairdryer in the washroom and when my daughter asked the front desk was told that they don't have extra hairdryers! So no beds, no hairdryers, no soap. Luckily, we saw a cleaning lady in the hallway and she was able to help us, but the front desk had no intention of helping at all - horrible! The next morning our "breakfast" was taken from a pile of paper bags at the front desk: a juice box, pre-packaged muffin, bar, & apple. Most disappointing continental breakfast ever! Very shocked at the inferior quality and level of customer care in a Tacoma hotel -- it was a very memorable stay for sure, but not in a good way!

Unsanitary and not worth the cheap cost. Stay was very disappointing. There was damages to our room, the only outlet next to our bed did not work. There’s mold above the shower and the shower head looks like it’s going to fall off. There are stains on our curtains, looks like blood, and we are not able to move the curtain because the handle is broke (mind you it’s right against the bed). The breakfast was a paper sack with a juice, muffin, and orange. The price is cheap but I think I would have preferred to pay more for a better stay elsewhere.

I think that nightly rate has a misplaced "1' in front of it! Is there a Zero star rating available for this place? If not - why not? It just goes to show you that you can slap a Comfort Inn & Suites on just about any building and call it a hotel The parking garage is what exactly? All the eating areas are closed Your so called breakfast in in a bag What is it you ask? An apple, a pastry and something else. Jail prisoners get fed better!

Sketchy I have a high tolerance for dealing with discomforts but this place is downright dirty, unkept and sketchy. I arrived late (1:15 a.m.) with my son en route to a baseball tournament (I felt glad we were carrying baseball bats as we made our way through the parkade and up the elevator). First car I saw in the (non-secure) parkade had a fist-sized rock lying on the hood below a shattered windshield. Surprisingly didn’t get stuck in the elevator. Entered room to find one bed soiled (stained and hair on sheets, don’t want to think about the source of the stains…) and a non-functioning toilet. (Pro tip: fill the garbage can with water a dump down the toilet for a manual flush!). Too late and tired to deal with clearly useless staff so we slept on top of our beds and wore jackets to stay warm. Large dusty Best Western signs in the parkade tell an interesting story — my bet is this place got the boot from BW for low standards. Don’t believe any good reviews or Chatbot written responses from management as this place barely rates 1 star.
