Great Our stay at Granlibakken was a much needed escape from the heat and smoke during CA fire season. The outstanding service is what truly made our stay exceptional. Antonella, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect. Accommodations were a mix of forest and luxury. If you’re looking for a perfect retreat in the heart of nature with unparalleled service, this forest resort is the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

Great venue for groups I recently stayed with the Skyline Group and had a fantastic experience. The meals were exceptional, and our group sales manager was outstanding—she anticipated our needs and stayed on top of every detail. Granlibakken is an excellent venue for conferences and group events. I highly recommend them and their amazing staff. Thank you Granlibakken and Sydney!

A Lake Visit That Doesn't Break the Bank We booked our stay here through Airbnb and stayed in an onsite studio condo. The Condo was small, even for 2 people. However, guests can access most of the Granlibakken amenities. We strongly recommend booking direct with Granlibakken. There are more choices of accommodations AND the daily breakfast is included in the price of the room(s). In Spring/Summer/Fall the Pool, kiddie pool, and hot tub is great. There are also tennis courts and hiking trail access. While you're not on the Lake and have no 'Lake View,' you're just a short drive (or even about a mile walk) to the water's edge....a little further to City Park and downtown Tahoe City. Great Granlibakken staff providing wonderful service were Carlos and Augustina at the onsite 'Cedar House Pub' restaurant.

Adventure day This was our second time returning with our preteen daughters after 2 years. The staff does an amazing job bringing enthusiasm and safety together. The family had so much fun, gaining confidence as our time progressed. It is a physical activity so water was a must. One of our daughters had a petrifying and paralyzing fear of heights. Our previous visit she proudly completed one obstacle. The staff does a beautiful graceful job of handling these fears. This visit she was intent on conquering more, and worked through a handful of obstacles! I would recommend this activity for a wide range of groups; including families, date day, and friends day out.

Awesome summer trip It was a blast! A fire displaced us and they were able to get us a reservation within the week. Gorgeous place, great location, and nice amenities. Can’t wait to be back, and maybe will hopefully get to try it in the winter. Behind excited, and they were especially nice replacing trash bags and paper towels. 10/10 experience.
