Nice clean room. I can say this room was very clean. I appreciate when the maids do a good job. The main lobby is only for checking in and the breakfast was in a bag to go. Nice desk clerk. Nice sized room. We chose the studio. It had a full kitchen.

Great staff...not a great room The only positive thing about this hotel is the staff....each and every person we came into contact with could not have been nicer. Constantly cleaning the common spaces too...I mean truly someone was vacuuming or mopping the lobby area every single time we walked through. The room itself was not the best...we had roaches crawling around the kitchenette area so we kept everything in the fridge. There were not enough towels in the bathroom and no towels for the kitchen area. Housekeeping gave us extra towels the second day. But the towels were ridiculously tiny and old. The bed was terrible...hard and uncomfortable. Our room overlooked the area where the fire pit and grill is located....which clearly is also where people sit to smoke. The cigarette containers were overflowing...not the best view. The first night it rained, so no fire pit going, but the second night it was lit and there was a group of folks out there drinking and talking until midnight. I could not believe the hotel would allow that fire pit to be going and people out there loudly socializing until midnight! It was impossible to sleep with all the noise...not to mention the uncomfortable bed. We did bring it to the attention of the front desk as we checked out and she was genuinely apologetic...she said they are supposed to turn it off at 9 pm, which seems reasonable. But they had to hear all the noise just as clearly as we did. Breakfast was nominal....I mean truly not much of anything to choose, they might as well not offer anything. I think I had a granola bar and a yogurt and that was all to choose from...or cornflakes. Would not recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again.

Disappointing Very disappointing stay. Reserved a suite for 4, no extra pillows or bedding or enough towels in room. Towels that were there were askew. Employees very friendly and tried to be helpful but was told that they might have to get towels from Marriott courtyard...this was move in weekend for FSU, the hotel was full and they didn’t have enough towels or bedding? Also worst of all, German roach in bathroom and coffee grounds in coffee maker from previous guest. Stayed here several times over last few years and it’s steadily declined, as has the Residence Inn by FSU. Very sad.

Amazing accommodations, staff and location! Took a weekend trip with a family member to this location and couldn’t have been more pleased. From check in with Shaneka to the completion of my stay, our visit was wonderful. The room was clean and spacious and the location is very quiet. Will be making more trips to Tallahassee in the future and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. Thank you RI north!

Worst night ever!!!!!!!!!!!!! First the good...and front desk clerk and asst manager were very nice. That’s it. I felt like I was sleeping on the shoulder of the freeway! There was no noise buffering at this hotel at all! The beds were likely as hard as the road as well. When the AC came on, the entire room shook. It reminded me of one of those beds that you put a quarter in it was so bad and extremely disorienting! After driving 12 hours and having another 4 to go, this did not provide the rest needed. It is 3:41a as I am writing this...haven’t slept a wink! Husband just fell asleep, son is awake. Oh, and did I mention we are in a 2 bedroom unit! Did online check in and asked for digital key to avoid front desk, didn’t get it. When I got to front desk at 8p and rang the bell for someone, and she started working on my reservation, she first said a room wasn’t available (I reserved a 2 bedroom) because they were short staffed on cleaning people. Then suddenly they found one and the asst manager assured me she cleaned it herself that morning, detailing everything she did but she wouldn’t tell me the last time someone stayed in the room (so i assume it was yesterday). I brought my own Microban spray and treated every inch of that unit before I let my family inside just to be sure. Oh and guests were not required to wear masks in the common areas despite signs everywhere saying it was mandated! It is July and Florida is peak hotspot for COVID!!!! I wish we would have just left when they couldn’t find our room originally and pushed through the night to our final destination rather than stay here. Likely would have been an overall safer drive!! I will never stay here again nor recommend it (I own a travel agency with 29 advisors specializing in Disney destinations).
