The resort is a gem! This resort is a gem! We went during rainy season but there were so many areas to sit outside and enjoy the warm air during a rain storm. There are many activities to do and can be arranged by the tour desk. The room was clean, easy to access, had a comfortable bed, and view of the ocean. The property has 3 pools with lounge chairs. If you want to sit on the beach, this space is outside the property but has venders that can set you up with an umbrella and chair for a fee. Walking around the town of Tamarindo is fun, lots of places to eat/drink/shop. I felt safe the entire time and enjoyed every day we were there. I would love to return and stay at this resort again.

Beware of Housekeeping Personnel My main complaint is with the housekeeping. I bought cigars in Nicaragua as a birthday gift and left them in my suite when I went out for lunch, only to find them missing upon my return. The housekeeper also repeatedly asked for additional money for her services.

Beautiful resort in the heart of Tamarindo Beautiful resort, excellent service. A little pricy but all of Tamarindo is touristy so it's more expensive. The people were friendly , breakfast buffet was plentiful and they had great coffee. The concierge was knowledgeable about the tours.

Beautiful and relaxing Everyone was very welcoming and kind and helpful. The food was wonderful and the property is so beautiful. Next time we visit Tamarindo we are going to stay here for sure. We would recommend the Diria to anyone who wants a great experience ! ! !

Wonderful Stay This place is great ! Right in front of the beach, the pools are just perfect, how the hotel is distributed. They have chairs to watch the sunset or just to seat and read in front of the ocean. Another thing is that I believe that they dont use chlorine to clean the pools instead they must use something else, which is great, that way you dont get that ugly smell when you get out. Breakfast is huge! A bunch of delicious options to choose from
