Filthy hotel horrible customer service. Bring your own towels!! This hotel was just terrible!!! Right when I checked in I felt like I was intruding. The rooms were filthy. I had to use lysol wipes to clean floor bathroom etc. The komod would not flush readily. We had to beg for towels and tell front desk or maids why we needed towels and even then we never received the towels. I had to call 1 800 hilton to ask for towels. I found dead roach in room no telling if there were live ones. Everything was old date and worn out and did I happen to mention the customer service was NON EXISTENT!! Stay away from this place. It would be better to sleep in your car!!!

Reservation that includes breakfast is only for continental breakfast My husband and I had a reservation that included breakfast. The room was spacious for us and our two dogs. It was very clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The only problem we had (and the website should be updated to clarify this) was we thought, since we paid the extra money for "breakfast included", that it included the breakfast on the menu. It did not, it was only for the continental breakfast, which consisted of cold cereal, grits, some fruit, bread, pastries, coffee, milk & juice and there were at least 2 other tables that thought the same. Had we have known this at the time of making the reservation, we would not have made the reservation that included breakfast. We still would have stayed at the hotel, but we would not have spent the additional money on the reservation. The staff was accommodating and did make the appropriate adjustments. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. We just hope the website will be updated to state the type of breakfast that is included in the rates.

Never stay in Hilton Garden 20 @ 10:30: I asked the lady at the desk if I could borrow a plate from the dining counter. I had brought some food back from a restaurant earlier and had it in the rooms (#205) frig. She said she couldn’t. First asking what time would I bring is back in the morning. Then saying she can’t. Questioning if I’d bring it back was an untrusting statement toward myself and my wife. The floors were filthy. The carpet was so filthy, when wearing white socks, the bottoms were black in a matter of no time. My wife took a wash cloth and “cleaned” the bathroom floor. It was filthy. Paint on the walls was piling off. When we checked in on 5/19, the room had two (2) bath towels, one (1) hand towel and one (1) wash cloth. I being a Hilton Honor member for years and scheduled my stay in advance, this is the worst I’ve seen and with all respect, Hilton Garden will no longer have myself or family darken the hotel doors. 5/23-no coffee at 8:45 am. One (1) canister for regular coffee, empty. Decaf (1) small canister empty. Only two (2) canisters for coffee, empty. No other coffee available. Just “hot water”. When checking out, we shared this with the desk person. They said that this hotel was going to be remolded shortly and they were sorry.

Unfriendly handicap hotel We reserved a handicap room with roll in shower . When we checked in the attendant at front desk indicated she was 90% sure it was a roll in shower and if not they would see about another room. Well when we got to room, it was a tub with no shower seat. We called down to front desk and no other rooms were available. The front desk sent someone up and brought a seat which did not even fit in the tub. We asked for a discount and none was offered. They said on our. Second night they could switch up to another room. We called the front desk next morning and no other room was available. So I was unable to get a shower and no refund or discount because I booked through a 3rd party. I would not recommend this location to stay. Also the handicap room they placed us in was at the far end of the hall from elevator. Must places we stay have rooms at elevator I would no recommend this hotel. They were not even willing to offering anything, not even a free breakfast.

A pleasant stay not without minor inconveniences Pros: Quiet location convenient to major highways and area attractions, nice common areas, spacious suites, reasonable rates. Cons: Front desk staff not exceedingly friendly, odd suites layout, thin mattresses. This Hilton Garden Inn makes a good first impression with its charming, high-ceilinged lobby and quaint corner bar, and truth be told there is nothing outright bad about this property. The location directly off the highway (but tucked within a quiet office park) is convenient for area activities, and we all got a good night’s rest in between destinations. That said, there are some minor things worthy of criticism. Three times I needed to speak to the front desk staff (checking in, requesting bedding for the kids sleeping on the pull-out sofa, and checking out) and the lone employee was on the phone booking reservations for callers. Isn’t that what the Hilton reservations number and website are for? And if not, an additional staff member to handle this task so guests don’t have to wait to speak with someone would be welcome. Also, our suite had an odd layout with a separate kitchen area blocked from the living room by a counter and narrow double door placed directly next to the main door into the unit. Meanwhile, the bathroom was located within the separate bedroom, meaning the kids needed to enter our room to use the bathroom in the middle of the night while we were sleeping on our thinly padded mattress (every other one-bedroom suite I’ve ever stayed in has offered separate access to those sleeping in the living room). None of these were deal-breakers, but instead unfortunate quirks offset somewhat by the reasonable cost of staying at the property.
