Really good Hotel. This is a really good Hotel. The location is excellent for accessing what you want to do in Tampa. Check in was smooth and I had a standard room. The room was really spacious and clean including the bathroom. The bed was really comfortable as well. The room had air conditioning, a coffee machine, a fridge, a microwave and television. Also on the 11th floor where I was there was a drinks machine and a free ice machine as well. The decor of the rooms and the landings is a bit dated but this is a minor point. My only negative is that the lighting in the room could be better. There was no main light just a lamp. Rooms were cleaned and sheets/towels changed everyday. The restaurant in the hotel is really good. The menu is just right and the food was great. The staff in there were so friendly especially Sheila who worked the morning shift. She was a credit to the Hotel. The Hotel provides a free shuttle bus for you to go anywhere within a 2/3 mile radius. This was such a handy service and when you were finished at wherever you went the you would just call the Hotel to get the shuttle to pick you up. The pool is basic but handy if you just want to chill out for a bit and take a dip. There is a small shop on site that sells drinks and snacks however I would suggest using this to often as it was very overpriced. All in all this is a really good Hotel and very reasonably priced compared to other Hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

A getaway to Tampa Our stay was pleasant. The rooms could’ve been cleaner. The floors had crumbs on them nothing a Vaccum couldn’t have fixed. The housekeeping had issues with cleaning my room after being asked several times, issues did get resolved, enjoyed my stay in Tampa

Great hotel So long as the maintenance issues get sorted out, this is a great place to stay in Tampa that is relatively close to anywhere you'd be going

Good value for downtown Tampa stay Recently stayed at this location while needing to be in downtown Tampa. Parking was plentiful and easily accessed. The room fit our needs, rooms are slightly dated but clean and a decent amount of space. We were going to the convention center - it is not really close enough to walk (and that would be dependent upon what you are doing and how hot it is) but an easy and fast ride. We ate at the restaurant one evening, they appear to need more staff but the food was very good, we were well pleased with our meals. Compared to the prices of other local hotels, we though we received very good value by staying at The Barrymore and would stay again.
