Casa Benavides Taos Bed and Breakfast

Art everywhere! A gem of an inn, close to the plaza. The hospitality was stellar. The artwork in the public spaces and original art work in every guest room made this a very special place. The made to order breakfast in a beautiful dining room every morning got each day off to a pleasant start. The outside patios offered lovely opportunities to read, relax and visit with friends. Looking forward to a return visit.

Just okay but we won't be going back We were disappointed with housekeeping - room servicing was incomplete for two nights, e.g., disposed of but didn't replace empty tissue box, didn't clean bathroom floor or make bed. The main lobby bathroom had run out of toilet paper and there were no spare rolls. Dining room - staff was quite friendly and food good. A/C - the A/C unit is not controlled by a thermostat, simply off or on-high or on-low. It was in the ceiling right over the bed and quite loud, disturbing sleep. Staffing - the front desk is not attended in the morning nor after 7 PM. We were unable to stop by to voice concerns about the servicing issues.

Old town superior with fair pricing Spend time walking around looking at the interior art and decor- it’s fabulous. The rooms are beautiful although fireplaces no longer work and there was no coffee pot. However, a refrigerator and microwave are in the rooms and coffee/tea are free in the morning along with a delicious breakfast served off a menu in the dining room. This is NOT standard fare. Fits the historic and cultural vibe of Taos and is easily walkable to Taos square and numerous great restaurants. Very friendly staff. Outdoor patios and porches are located around property. Highly recommend!

Perfect location with fabulous breakfast! This is hands down the best place we have stayed at in Taos. Great location for walking to all the local spots, ample parking, quiet, comfortable and super clean. The decor was spot on and that breakfast alone was better than any restaurant in the area. You guys have outdone yourselves and I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Casa Benavides is awesome! Absolutley wonderful service! The staff are so friendly and nice! We had to unexpectedly entend our stay and they were able to accomodate us with another room despite it being almost immediate. Breakfast is awesome, well cooked and presented.
