Courtyard stepped up! So I want to start by saying Courtyard turned this review around! I left my stay not the happiest, however the hotel manager personally reached out to me to address the issue, which is far and few between these days. I highly value interactions like this because they really show that someone/a company is trying to do their best. Courtyard did not sweep my review or survey under the rug, they responded and apologized directly. That means a lot. While our issues was never with the hotel but with the night staff and how they treated us. Our experience was used at a learning moment for their staff and you really can’t ask for more when it comes to a less then desirable customer service experience.

Worst Courtyard Ever This is the worst Courtyard I have ever stayed in and probably the oldest. I checked at 3:45 and went to my room. The rooms still have popcorn ceilings and the carpets are old and warn. When I entered the room it immediately smelled very musty and moldy. I was in the room for about 30 minutes and realized I could not sleep in that room as I have asthma. I gathered my things and went downstairs and told the young man at the desk I could not stay in that room with my asthma, he said okay and took my keys. Never said I’m sorry or would you like to try a room. I was charged for the night and had to pay for a room somewhere else. I expect better from Marriott and have never seen a hotel so run down with the Marriott brand. I saw other good reviews and I greatly question if those were actual independent reviews or if they were for the newer hotel not far away made by mistake. This hotel has NOT been redone recently.

Avoid Rooms At Front Standard Courtyard with everything you expect. Limited contact with staff but what there was was efficient and friendly. A colleague warned me they had two disturbed nights and I had the same. The noise from the freeway pervades all the time. I am normally a heavy sleeper but disturbed regularly through the night.

Good hotel, average Courtyard The property is well maintained and recently refurbished but still looks somehow dated. Stayed one night and it was rather unremarkable. Easy in and easy out, no issue whatsoever. Check-in a bit slow even though I checked in online. Very attentive service at the bistro. Not the best location in The Woodlands but not bad at all.

Good locale but nothing stands out here Hotel and room were good. Not great. Not many room amenities, no iron, no small lotion or shower gel (which other hotels usually have). Does have mini refrigerator. I liked their Starbucks and small kitchen, breakfast options but there is no large restaurant here. One front desk person was very nice, always greeting when arriving and leaving, other staff didn’t pay any attention to me at all (too busy talking/training). I stay at Marriott by choice but wouldn’t necessarily stay at this location again.
