Excellent service I stayed here for a night and the hotel was on budget price, while offering the amenities of a good hotel. Well kept. Clean sheets, clean bathroom and room was great. Good selection for the breakfast too (warm and cold food). The staff were just fantastic. they went out of their way to be nice.

Awesome stay It was a repeat stay I stayed here for a week to visit family and again I really enjoyed my stay The room was very clean very roomy really quiet The staff was very friendly and helpful I loved the breakfast buffet it was nice to have the hot breakfast I definitely recommend this hotel for future guests

Good stay! I enjoyed my stay with senator hotel, it was a good room with 2 queen beds tower side of the hotel. I was travelling with 3 teenagers and they approved. Very clean and I would stay again and thanks Joanne at the front desk for the great service!

Worst Hotel EVER In 1975 I stayed in a hotel called the Sinton. I thought that place was bad until I stayed in the Senator. First when I was checking in I was made to feel I did something wrong because I booked a room last August at $115 when they are now $250. Then I was told I just had to take a few short stairs to my room. Yeah right. Turns out to be 4 full flights of stairs from the parking garage. If I wanted to take an elevator I take an elevator to the first floor. Then it’s only 3 full flights. Room was dated and below standard. Nothing about the stay was pleasant. Definitely would not recommend anyone to think about booking here.

Avoid the East Wing at all costs. We all know, and understand that hotels increase their rates during a week that has a major event; capitalism at its best. This place whet from $125 (regular rate) to $240/night during Mining week in Timmins. I can live with tired and dreary, which is the best way to describe the East Wing, however, no elevator service (and, as mentioned by several staff members, no plans to fix anytime soon) was only one of several problems. Very slow front desk staff, thermostat non-functional, shower water temperature fluctuates from ice cold to scalding hot (be prepared to jump out of the way). Mixed up reservations dates, etc. etc. The staff knows and understands the problems the hotel faces and are very sympathetic, polite and helpful. They are the reason why I gave a Poor rating instead of Terrible.
