Good Started off bad but wound up okay in the end. We made a reservation on the phone and asked for a King Bed. The last king they had was an Accessible room. Great we booked it and 15 minutes were in the lobby. It was a bit busy at check in but not an overly long wait. However, when we opened the room we were shocked to see the room was completely stripped and the bed linens just shoved in the corners. We were told they would make the room right but I knew they had two doubles left and I asked for one of those and we got a room on the top floor. The Good: 1. Pet friendly. We have two small dogs and they enjoyed their stay. 2. This room was clean and comfortable. 3. Near restaurants so if you’re hungry there are options. 4. Free cookies at check in. 5. The Hampton Inn free breakfast buffet. 6. Employees were friendly. The Bad: 1. Pet fee was $75. We stay at Choice properties a lot and the fee is much lower - $25 to $50. 2. The grass area for the pets potty needs was high. 3. Not the best Hampton Breakfast. The sausage patties were a strange white color. Eggs tasted like powdered eggs. I would rate this 3.5 but am giving the 4 since we know there are no half ratings.

Convenient to the Cape I like this hotel for its convenience to the space center. Now that their renovations are finished I usually choose to stay for the convenience. The trip to the space center usually takes me 15 minutes unless there is a planned launch. If that is occurring it is good to start really early. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is usual Hampton Inn style. I do wish they would provide Greek yogurt instead of the sugar filled ones they offer.

Nice room Spacious and clean. Plenty of electrical outlets in newer space. Very quiet. Shower had plenty of water volume but shower door was poorly designed so water leaked onto the floor. Plenty of counter space in bathroom. A/C worked well. Overall, nice room.

Not ADA standards and Very Noisy First- when you check in, make sure it is after 2;30PM- no early check in unless you pay $50 more. My wife has MS and needs an afternoon nap- too bad. Second- the room was Handicap accessible with roll in shower. The shower grab bars or 4 feet plus off the floor. Not ADA standards. Plus one grab bar was pulling out from the wall. Third- around 3:30AM for over 40 minutes someone at the front desk was playing their music very loud. I tried to call the front desk but there was no answer. The morning breakfast was so so. Told the front desk out the problems, they listen but seemed no to truly care.

Nice enough hotel. Nice enough hotel. Employees were great (shout out to Matt and Mary) except for a woman named Bree at the reception desk. Very rude. I have never experienced someone so awful and I have been staying at Hampton Inns for years. She could not crack a smile if her life depended on it. Very unprofessional. I heard her complaining about people behind the desk. We arrived a bit early and sadly, I had the flu. She told us we had to wait on our room. It was 1:00 in the afternoon. Evidently, they charge 50.00 if you want to check-in early even though there were plenty of rooms available. I have also never experienced this at a Hampton Inn in the past. She was bothered with storing our luggage. I then went to the restroom behind the reception counter while waiting on our room. She started beating on the door. I have no idea what that was about. It was a bizarre experience. Anyway, the rooms were spacious and clean. Our friend who was with us checked out a day earlier than us. He asked for an hour later check-out because his 82 year old Mom who was not feeling well. They told him no. The hotel was a ghost town the day they left. It was ridiculous! Needless to say, that is the last time we will be visiting this particular Hampton Inn. Bree needs a serious attitude adjustment or needs to find a job that makes her happy. Kudos to the rest of the staff for putting up with her. She is not someone who should be greeting guests when they walk in the door.
