Space Coast Hotel -Titusville/Kennedy Space Center

Unclean and sold our reserved/paid for room We booked this hotel 2 months prior to our trip. We were looking for an affordable stop the night before our cruise. When we showed up at the hotel, there were signs posted on the front door that every room had been sold. Knowing we had a reservation I went in to get our rooms. I was in disbelief as I was told that all rooms had been sold and they did not hold our reservation, which was already paid for! We had to fight through the refund process in a lobby that smelled of smoke. The area did not feel safe and my wife was happy to go elsewhere. It was a very frustrating evening the night before our cruise.

Avoid this place at all costs! We thought this would be a good place to stay before our cruise for $110 total. The reviews weren't too bad when we booked, but then went downhill after that. Avoid this hotel unless you love the smell of marijuana. The place reeked of it the minute we walked in, and one of the employees told us that they were trying to get rid of the addicts, but couldn't. The employees were also smoking in the hallway by the door. The police were there at least twice in the couple of hours we stayed. We went out and bought some Febreeze at a nearby Walmart, but that didn't help. When we started feeling sick, we left and found another nearby hotel. This is not a nice hotel, don't believe the good reviews, they are not true. It's run down, and not the cleanest place either. It seems to be a place for addicts and homeless to stay cheaply. There are no phones in the rooms, the tub did not have a plug that worked. Showers only. We're currently working with Expedia and our credit card company to get a refund for that night, but there is no way that we could have stayed even one night. The only good part of it is the Denny's that is attached.

Wonderful experience I’m from out of town and never had I ever had such a wonderful experience. People truly are the face of the company and every single employee there has a heart for the people. Tiffany was wonderful, going above and beyond to work around any issue. There are others I don’t know by name, but also put forth effort to make sure our stay was good. The room is well worth the price and plus you get a microwave and refrigerator with a freezer. You’re not going to get this kind of service and price anywhere. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

It was "OK". The room was much nicer than the reviews led me to believe. I only stayed there because of it's location-right off the Interstate. And I had planned to leave the next day and find a hotel closer to/in Titusville. But the room was "OK". And when I checked in...around midnight, the lady at the front desk was very polite, asked me about "preferences-2nd floor ? Poolside? Suite? double or king?" So all "OK". Not great...but will do.

Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel on Friday for our 2 yr anniversary upon going into the room the smell of mold and mildew was almost unbearable. We reached out to the front desk to get a new room only to be told there were no other rooms available. The next day is a day we will never forget we put a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door and me and my fiancé went down to the front desk to find out if they had any rooms available, we told the front desk lady that we would be gone for a few hours and if another room came up to please let us know. We get back to the hotel after about 3 hrs upon entering the hotel room we noticed the bed was made which was odd because we put a DO NOT DISTURB SIGN ON THE DOOR next we noticed all off my stuff in an overnight bag was taken out and gone through. My blood pressure medicine was STOLEN, my fiancés purse was opened and about 300 dollars was STOLEN. My brand-new Bluetooth headset that cost 130.00 was STOLEN. Me and my fiancé were devastated that our privacy was violated and our hard-earned money was STOLEN. We went down and spoke to the front desk and explained that we did not want to be charged for staying there and we would like our visit to be refunded back to us. She explained to us she couldn’t do anything we demanded to speak to a manager, and we were told one would call us back that never happened after 3 more phone calls which the manager completely ignored us and refused to even talk to us his message to the front desk they would comp us a one night stay which was completely unacceptable. We explained to her that we wanted to speak to a manger because clearly there is someone that is going into rooms and stealing stuff and for us and for future guests, they need to identify the thief and put a stop to this. Much to my fiancé’s surprise they did NOT CARE and unfortunately it seems as though this happens far more often because of the lack of concern they showed in getting to the bottom of this very serious issue. Please AVOID THIS HOTEL if you care about your family’s privacy and safety because it is VERY CLEAR they do not care about the PRIVACY and SECURITY of the guest staying at the hotel we are in touch with the corporate office, Wyndham resort, booking.com, where we booked this hotel. We want to make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else EVER AGAIN. PLEASE read this and share it with everyone you know this has to stop you expect to stay at a hotel and you don’t expect to be robbed and your privacy violated.
