Novotel Toronto Centre

First Visit - will use again! First time staying at the Novotel as usually use the Omni or One King West. However the prices they were looking for were ridiculous so decided to give the Novotel a go as heard it had been fully renovated since covid etc. Great location, 5 mins walk from Union station if you are coming on the the UP express from the airport - easy flat walk with luggage. They can also store it for you if you are there before check-in or not leaving until after check out. Plus number of restaurants on door step and 5 minute walk to St Lawrence Market, 10 mins to Distillary district and Eaton Centre. Also only 2 minutes from Berczy Park, great place to sit, relax and just watch the world go by. Lovely reception area and welcome from staff was very friendly. We had two separate bookings for two nights in a row due to change in flights but they ensured we didnt have to move rooms. Elevators require your room keycard to operate to extremely safe. Room had been updated and was reasonably size for a downtown hotel room which is not a suite. We had a window looking down and out onto the Esplanade bars and restaurants but we were not disturbed at all from the street - great soundproofing. Bathroom was also very modern and good quality toiletries. Only slight complaint was the noise of the refrigerator in the room - however we switched it off during the night so problem solved. Will definitely use again when staying downtown.

Great Toronto location Great location. Walking distance to popular sites and Union Station. Spacious and clean bedroom and bathroom. Newly renovated bathroom. Very comfortable beds and linen supplied. Large restaurant conveniently located in ground floor. Only two bags of tea and two milk portions supplied at room service. Bring your own if you need more than one cup of tea or coffee a day. Overall good stay.

Central Novotel is at the centre of must see places in Toronto - Excellent Location and excellent quality room and bed We had a ten stay at Novotel Downtown Toronto. The hotel location is excellent as within walking distance to the key sights such as The Distillery. St Lawrence Market, Lake Ontario Harbour Front, CN Tower, Union Train and Bus Station and many places to dine out. The hotel is kept immaculately clean. Stylish in it's presentation. We had access to the gym, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Clean towels and drinking water was provided in the gym and swimming pool/sauna area. Drinking water and ice available on each floor of the hotel. Staff were very pleasant especially the team that provides breakfast - Merrick Tatiana and Nicole Anna and Frazer. I felt staff were knowledgeable about Toronto and offered us advice on must see places in and outside Toronto. A special thanks to Merrick, Nicole, Tatiana for sign posting places of interest and making our stay especially breakfast time an enjoyable one. I would give this hotel 5 out of 5

Great option close to St. Lawrence Market I stayed here for only a night but really enjoyed my time here. The hotel itself is nice and the room was spacious. The decor around the hotel was really neat. The location is great, super close to public transportation and a quick walk to St. Lawrence Market. The only downside was that my room was right above the hotel's restaurant/bar, and they were playing very loud music well into the night. Overall, it was a great stay!

Good stay but can improve on services Gave it 3 star coz of an average service from front office staff. They need more training from F&B staff who were absolutely great in terms of customer service. On arrival after a long 20 hours flight, no help to assist with lots of luggages or an offer at least. They will charge a pre-auth of every nights rate on top of your payment. Receptionist said its always like that in whole country. So its fine, as i was just used to a dollar pre auth (or a credit card for incidentals) as im a Accor Gold member. However the deposit was returned to my account after a month. Room is clean, modern and comfortable. Lots of restaurants nearby and St. Lawrence market easy walking distance. No laundry facilities in the hotel. Dry cleaning shop outside is useless as they dont do wash and fold. I was impressed with the most in this property were the awesome Restaurant staff (both breakfast and dinner), theyre just so welcoming, attentive and provided us with tips on going out and about - f&b team is a great asset of this hotel.
