Simply incredible... The entire Ritz-Carlton team is first class! Firstly, I would typically not take the time to write a review. However, my wife and I were over the top impressed with our recent two night stay at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Immediately, from the entrance, to check in, and the spectacular room, our two night getaway was spectacular. We exclusively travel Marriott properties all over North America, and can with out a doubt rank this experience at the top of our list. We are beyond grateful for the special touches from Alroy.. Breakfast was incredible! The Ritz bar menu was first class! The leadership definitely shows here, every single member of the Ritz team we had the pleasure to speak with made our stay special. Thank you Ritz-Carlton Team! Absolutely incredible.

Just a perfect 3 days at the Ritz-Carlton Toronto. Stayed here for 3 nights in a one bedroom corner suite. The room was fabulous. It was large, 2 huge televisions, a gorgeous double sink bathroom and the best King bed I have ever slept on. Room was so clean and nice smelling. Staff came in twice a day to clean and replenish water bottles etc.. Right from the minute we checked in until the minute we checked out, the staff were so nice to us. We dined at the TOCA restaurant on Wednesday and it was awesome(I have a seperate review for it). We also ate at the Cafe outside for lunch. The hotel is so close to everything. Just a wonderful time. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in downtown Toronto. Big thanks to all the staff!

The Ritz - Carlton , welcome back ! As usual the Ladies and the Gentlemen of the Ritz did a sterling job looking after me. Even through Covid restrictions, they were fantastic, I had a last minute booking by a fantastic reservations clerk. I just needed to get away for a few days and what better at my favourite hotel. I wasn't able to secure a suite last minute but oh my gosh the standard rooms are luxurious. Clean is NOT the word, SUPER-CLEAN, if I should say so. Apparently The Ritz had a bit of a refit and it showed, the same old Ritz that I know but very clean, fresh and emmm... Sharp ! The bed's are awesome, the right firmness and clinically clean, the room smelt so fresh ! Under new management I had the fortune to speak to the General Manager: Mr. Guillaume Benezech. The last GM I knew was Mr. Tim Terceira, I did have some interactions with Mr. Terceira but on a more formal note. Mr. Benezech, is a very hands on GM and very passionate about his hotel, he leads from the front lines and is not afraid to jump in and help the troops out. Was very interested in my feedback and spoke to me about his staff and his hotel. I must admit, I was disappointed in no TOCA and no club level but that was a Covid issue and not a Ritz issue. Not able to play the piano either, which I also enjoy but never mind. I enjoyed breakfast and lunch in the Ritz Bar, fantastic attentive staff, always talkative, very friendly. But room service with a 55" TV hmm, can't beat that ! The Ritz staff, ALL of them have a CAN DO attitude. If it's not available, or it's not the right time or a wrong menu, you CAN HAVE it. I got there late and was so happy to find the kitchen was able to make me a hot meal. I relaxed in the pool and hot tub for 2 of the 3 days I was there. For those worried about valet parking, they took care of my car, a brand new BMW convertible. MY BMW app showed where it was parked, all doors and windows locked and my dashcam, showed the car treated with respect. It is so good to be proved wrong ! Not that I have had any problems with valet parking at the Ritz. But the best times I had was sampling cocktails and getting hammered in The Ritz Bar, well hammered is maybe too strong, let's just say, that right amount of buzz and needing to walk home and not drive, or rather walk to my room :) The Ritz bar staff, fantastic with there stories, looking after me, making suggestion and the cocktails oh my gosh ! Carleen, fantastic young lady who was genuinely interested in who I was and my background, Brent who made some of the best cocktails I've ever had and Franciso who would tell me about some of the drinks and how they made them, funny guy, everyone who interacted with him had a positive experience. On my last night, I got back "just" in time before last orders and it was "not a problem Adrian what can I get you" Irish and a Modern Doughnut ! LOL I had like 4 of those things while I was there ! Housekeeping for my room was Amalia, all the staff, are friendly accommodating and work hard and with a smile ! I have very high expectations when I hit The Ritz and they never fail me, I judge every hotel by the Ritz, even the Ritz beats it's own expectations. I did not hit the Ritz with my video, as it was a last minute thing, but I took some pictures on my phone, which I will share here but I also have made a more in-depth, photo/ video compilation, on my youtube channel. Hopefully the link will be here to ! Out of 10 I give the Ritz a hard 15 ! five star plus Since Guillaume Benezech (GM) has taken over you can add a PLUS to the 5 stars. The pool, spa and rooms are great and even TOCO, the italian restaurant is open again. All was superb. You will be pleasantly surprised even as platinum elite member.

Our absolute favourite place - thanks to Brent + Carleen Everywhere I travel I always choose Ritz Carlton - yes the infrastructure is fabulous but the people… the people are always amazing! We dined at Ritz Bar and have a fantastic meal on their gorgeous front patio on Wellington. The drinks Brent made were out of this world delicious - Carleen was very helpful and so personable. Both Brent & Carleen elevated what was supposed to be a casual afternoon and gave us a day we’ll remember. Look forward to returning!
