Don't pass this place up! Of all the front row motels in Traverse City my wife and I have totally enjoyed our stays at this location.
The staff is friendly, the hotel is always spotless and you are as close to downtown as you can get.
Despite being close to town it is quite and peaceful.
I highly recommend this location.

Won’t be back Very dated hotel, our first room smelt like mold/mildew so we requested to change rooms. Next room on a different floor and opposite side of the hotel smelt the same. Had allergies the entire 2-night stay. We wish we had booked refundable so we could leave. Go down the street or more into town to get value for your money. We will be back to traverse city, but not at this hotel!!!! View is pretty, but you can walk to the beach for free, no need to stay here and pay for to be on the beach. Staff was uninterested in the guests, very little contact and engagement from them.

Great stay! Nice beach and pool and clean rooms. Staff was very helpful, and continental breakfast has plenty of choices. We would stay again.

Nice hotel - older but very clean. Good location. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was OK. Wish bed mattress and beach chairs were more comfortable. Shuttle service to downtown was a plus.

Great Hotel--Fantastic Service I have been staying at this hotel almost since it opened--and I have never been disappointed. We rcently visited during the week of the Cherry Festival. The front desk people were excellent, the housekeeping crew was meticulus, Jonathon, the manager, was fantastic in resolving a problem and the free continental breakfast was superb. In response to a previous review, you should have known that all hotels increase their rates during the Cherry Festival. In fact, this is the typical process across the United States. It is simply basic Economics (supply and demand). And if you book directly through the Bayshore, they are very good at informing you what your TOTAL BILL will be as soon as you make your reservation!!
