$25 incidental fee per day for a non-resort I loved the responsive of the front desk staff. What was not good was the $25 a day incidental fee which you are not warned of ahead of time. This had never happened to me at this Hampton inn. It is not a resort fee like I am very experienced with. This is no resort however.

Very mixed experience, very ordinary breakfast The evening of and morning front desk staff were friendly and efficient. A woman, D., who checked us in went out of her way to find us the one item we really wanted after our long hot day. Hot black tea! Thank you so much. The room was clean and modern with great bed linens, cotton and fresh and clean. The breakfast gets one star out of five. It is not up to the standard we have come to expect from HI. It was no different from what the less expensive chain hotels serve. Why pay the higher cost when the breakfast is what you get at most Days Inn, La Quinta, etc? The only fresh fruit was apples and some very old bananas, two of which were badly bruised and completely mushy inside. Only two cold cereals, one very sugary. When the little tubs of yoghurt ran out, the employee would put out only three or four more. Everything about this breakfast was penny pinching. Lowest possible cost, and it showed. The staff person in the breakfast area was unhelpful, uncommunicative and did not make eye contact when l spoke to her. She was basically grumpy. I don’t know is this experience points to trend in breakfasts at HI or if this particular hotel is an anomaly. Would NOT return, the breakfast was very disappointing.

Perfect stay, clean and welcoming. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel to stay in Tucson look to this hotel. First off this room was so impeccably clean not a spot of dust anywhere. I was told the rooms were refurbished in 2019. The bed linen, the furniture, the carpeting and the bathroom fixtures are 100% perfect. The room looks and feels clean. It looks freshly painted without any spots or smudges anywhere . There is soap, body wash and shampoo in the shower . There are even makeup wipes located on the sink in the bathroom . The room is well lit and there is no odor of any sort in the room . The person checking us in was well informed and was able to answer every question that I had. His name is Blake. The only bad thing was it's his last day here at the hotel and all I can say is that it is their loss. This hotel is conveniently located and there are many restaurants in the area to choose from.

Nice hotel, conveniently located. Super friendly staff! The Good: Location was convenient for us, staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, the pool was nice. The mattress was very comfortable and the pillows were good. The breakfast was tasty with plenty of variety. We appreciated the refillable large pump bottles of shampoo, etc. instead of wasteful tiny bottles. The Bad: The fitted sheets were not deep enough for the mattresses and they popped off the corners if you moved at all. Corporate needs to buy them fitted sheets that fit the mattresses! I (5'4") had a hard time getting up on to the bed because it was so high--a step stool would have been helpful. Stairwells were labelled as stairs INSIDE the stairwell, but not from the hallway! Too much plastic at breakfast (forks, spoons, cups, etc.)

SUPER CLEAN AND VERY COMFORTABLE! This hotel was updated a few years ago. It is VERY CLEAN. I am somewhat of a germaphobe and I was very comfortable staying at this hotel.. I have great beds at my two homes but seriously this bed at this Hampton Inn was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. We had a quiet and restful nights sleep. The staff is friendly. We highly recommend this Hampton Inn! I do want to add I just do not understand why hotels use ceramic tile in their hotel rooms. Grout should be deep cleaned several times a year.
