Bad experience I absolutely love Lodge in the Desert and have stayed every summer for the last 6 years running. However, my recent stay was probably the worst experience due to the fact the AC cut out and l had to change rooms (AC wasn’t working that well in the second room either) during a severe thunderstorm. I appreciate the fact the front desk was able to move me so quickly but l didn’t receive an offer to help move all of my belongings nor did l receive a call from the hotel manager nor any concern when l checked out. I am a tad disappointed management didn’t reach out to me especially since l am a repeat customer.

Hidden Gem This is a hidden gem! The resort feel made our vacation feel like a vacation. Our Casita offered so much more privacy than staying in a multi level hotel. The staff was very friendly. It was great having a restaurant on the premises. Would definitely stay here again.

Little Adobe Hotel The rooms were very clean, the beds were super comfortable, the staff were so nice, the view was spectacular. We stayed two nights and loved it. I would highly recommend staying at this place. The only thing we didn’t use was the swimming pool but as we walked by it was very clean and well kept.

Buggy I stayed here in mid-May 2024. The wifi- didn't work but that's not a deal breaker. The front desk was closed when we tried to check out (6:30Am on a Sunday so I get it, I guess) What was more troubling was finding some silverfish bugs in the bedding. And the most troubling was the fact that I left two phone messages and no one had the courtesy to call me back. That's no way to run a business.

Fresca's new review! Hello again. My name is Fresca and I have already reviewed this hotel once, but we stayed in a different kind of room so I asked my mom to type for me again. I hurt my leg and am going through something called "rehab" and I have to rest. So, my mom decided to book us a bigger room at the Lodge so I could be a little more comfortable. Christina (I love her and she gives me bones) helped us book a Casita King Suite. My mom and dad both said "Wow" when we walked in and there was a comfy couch that my mom put a blanket on for me to curl up and rest. I could walk right out the door to a really close place to go potty, and I even saw some lizards! My mom loved the cacti and plants, and where our room was we could put the outside chairs in a position so we could sit outside and watch everything. My mom said that the decor was fantastic, the bathroom was clean and big, and the bed was super comfortable. She also said something about it being really quiet but I slept so much I didn't notice. Luis in the bar gave my mom some yummy wine so she was super happy. My mom also got us food at Cielo's and I got to taste it. The pork chop and salmon were really good, and so were the carrots. My dad got a piece of chocolate cake, but he didn't share because he said I couldn't have it. I think he was just being selfish. This hotel is what my parents call "top notch" because it is so clean, so welcoming and everybody is really nice. I think all pooches should bring their parents here.
