Good location Early straightforward to get around within a few minutes of University of Arizona itself was fine. Could use an upgrade on pillows but everything else was pretty nice swimming pool and hot tub area 24 hour front desk little bit sketchy neighborhood but felt safe. Would stay there again.

Not ready for prime time and certainly does not meet my expectations of a Hilton property I stayed for two nights at the Hilton Vacation Club Tucson. I have never stayed at type of Hilton property before so I didn't know what to expect. Upon my arrival, the front door was locked and I needed either a room key to get in or there was an intercom for several minutes I pushed and eventually called the number listed on my reservation just about the time the phone started to ring and employee walk to the desk and open the door. I was directed to park behind the building but was not given any direction as to re-enter the property from that side of the building. I saw an entrance that was secured and led to a pool, but no sign of entry to guest rooms. I eventually had to walk down the hallway that my room was on and find where that exit was and found that it led to a ramp that emptied into the pool area. A local map of the property would've been very helpful. I also stopped by the desk to ask where the ice machine was. The desk staff did not even look up at me and told me where to find the ice machines on the second and third floors. The room itself is spacious, however is in disrepair. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom is falling apart, I could not get any of the ceiling fans to work either by pulling on their chain or a combination of switches on the wall, the electrical outlets on either side of the king bed, or not live. For a Hilton property, the usual hospitality and scripting of the desk. The staff certainly wasn't meeting my expectation of the Hilton property and the disrepair of the room was subpar. The property is on a busy intersection with no setback from the traffic noise. Having a first floor room, wild engines and traffic were very loud at all times of day and night.

Fun in the sun at Varsity Club The desk staff, David, Shari, and Mary were wonderful. They provided excellent recommendations for food and activities in the greater Tucson area. The room was clean and well stocked. Bonus was free laundry and a free Margaretta guest appreciation time.

Bring earplugs! If you stay here, bring earplugs! While the property is well maintained and the rooms are clean, it is located on Speedway Blvd in Tucson. Speedway is a major east-west artery, and the traffic noise is unbearable all night and all day! Hilton just purchased this property...maybe they would do some sound proofing, but I doubt it.

Varsity Clubs of America - Tucson A nice size resort in a great location convenient to all our favorite activities: hiking, golf, pickleball, zoo, botanical gardens, cultural events, Univ. of AZ campus, and great Tucson cuisine. The staff are all professional, friendly and very accommodating.
