STAY AWAY... DIRTY, UNSAFE, RIPOFF The entire apartment smelled of cigarettes. The bathroom floor was covered in dust upon check in. The shower lost all water pressure within minutes but low water pressure in general. Stink/shield bugs constantly trying to enter the unit. No access to the laundry room. No paper towels, one roll of TP, and very little soap, shampoo, towels, etc. No trash cans outside in the courtyard or a dumpster. The unit was 700 sq ft so very spacious and the photos were accurate but there is no in-unit laundry and the codes given for the shared coin operated laundry didn't work so I couldn't as my clothes. The amenities were limited in regards to towels, cleaning supplies like soap, paper products, toiletries, the soap dispensers in the bathroom were empty. The water pressure for the shower will stop completely. No garbage outside and limited garbage bags. I stayed for a week. The address was easy to find but in an unsafe area. The apartment also smelled like cigarettes.I gave plenty of time to let them know when I would be arriving but upon arriving no one was around to help me get in. I had to call the host and then get a number to contact someone else who would open the gate for me. It took her several attempts to get the gate open and I never saw the person. She was preparing to leave her position that day so I felt like it was difficult to get needed help. When I checked in to #8 the entire apartment smelled like cigarettes. The host also had me pay for pet deposits and cleaning fees outside of Airbnb and I didn't feel comfortable but paid because this was my first time booking and I didn't know any better. Thankfully I got my money back after being super firm. Check out the host was not there but her new front desk person was late for check out because it was his moving day. I waited about 15 minutes and he went to the wrong unit and started inspecting someone else's unit until I called him to find out where he was and then he had to apologize to the lady he surprise showed up on.From the moment of check in something felt off. The host isn't easily accessible at all for issues. I was there for a week, the day before my birthday the people staying next door got into a major domestic dispute. It resulted in extreme property damage in the form of a completely smashed windshield that my car was parked next too and I could hear the sounds of screaming, cursing, yelling for help, and sounds of contact being made (either with things or people). I couldn't contact the host at all after calling multiple times and texting. I eventually told her I needed to call the police and she said "if you need to call the police go ahead :)" which honestly seemed super dismissive and creepy. I was in my unit whispering and shaking in fear to afraid to go outside and too afraid to be comfortable inside. The police came thankfully which calmed everything but the host never came to speak with me and didn't speak to the couple either and then avoided me completely after I wanted to move to a new unit....she said she "had no control over volume or who's in the parking lot". It was an absurd response to such a serious issue- it wasn't about volume it was about safety. I later found out that the couple next door that had the dispute, had 3 kids under the age of 4 in a 1 bedroom and had checked in for a few days and not been paying for months. I tried to get the laundry code numerous times but the codes never worked and I had to go to a laundry mat. The coffee maker that I confirmed existed well before check-in didn't work and I had a job interview the next day and had to wait a full day to get a working coffee maker. No coffee or filters were provided just as a side note to anyone checking. I had to use the coffee stand that shares the same parking lot with the complex and it turned out to be a semi-nude on which was very tasteless to me. They also had the front desk person quit and they hired someone new during the process of my stay so it resulted in even less communication since the host was not communicative or helpful at all. She said "I don't know what you expected for the price," as if I deserved it- it was $70 per day and since then I am staying in an amazing mother-in-law suite that is totally safe and the host is totally reliable. Also something worth noting that when went to exchange my coffee maker and pay for those deposits (outside of Airbnb) she asked me to "remove my mask (during a pandemic) so she could see my face" then she asked if I wanted a job at the front desk. It made me really uncomfortable, was inappropriate, and not safe during a pandemic. I don't think she should ask her guests if they want a job working for her. I truly hated the experience. It is not safe in terms of location, the residents at this location are also not safe. It is close to the freeway but you shouldn't be out and about at night here, I was told this at the coffee stand that shares the same lot as this complex. The coffee stand is a semi-nude coffee stand so keep that in mind as I didn't know this before going- and it was the nude barista that told me not to be out at night in the area. Lots of cops responding to calls and drug users in the area. The people in the complex are mostly people that rent month to month through sunset gardens directly and some that moved in and haven't been paying any rent. I found a place for the exact same price, same sq ft, it's in Seattle and it's completely safe. The host at the new place is normal and didn't ask for extra money outside of Airbnb. This was my first ever booking and now this is my 2nd somewhere new and the difference is night and day.If you have the option to stay somewhere else I highly encourage it. Yes, it is great in terms of sq ft but that's about it. It was a stressful stay and I wish I had chosen somewhere else. From water pressure, amenities, safety, miscommunication, cleanliness.

DO NOT BE FOOLED! This place is dirty and unsafe! All the good ratings on this property must came from the owners boosting their ratings up to deceive unsuspecting customers. Let's start with the rooms looks nothing like the pictures that they advertise. What this property really is, is an apartment make shifted into and advertised as a "suite". The minute you walk in, you can smell the mold. The bathroom shower had no shower curtains! So we had to go to the local stores and buy curtains to keep the water from getting the bathrooms wet (probably the reason why it smells like mold). There's a kitchen with no pots, pans, or dining set. so theres really no point of having a kitchen! TV doesn't work! You can turn it on but there's no channels to watch and the damn remote doesn't even work. Now let's talk about personnel. There's no cleaning staff and what ever management you want to call that, are no help. Main line goes straight to a cell phone so if they don't want to talk to you, they aren't going to pick up. I WOULD NOT recommend this place to ANYONE! DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THE OTHER GOOD RATINGS! YOU ARE WARNED!

New Management and new Vibe!! Well we stayed here a few years ago and said we would not be back but had to check it out beause it looked so different. I am so glad we did!! They said they have new owners about 2 years ago and recent new managment that just rock! They made our family feel right at home. We ask for a few things and they made it happen! Definetly will be back!

Very nice and quiet place to stay The rooms are big and have full kitchens. They are clean and for the most part very quiet. Management are very nice and knowledgeable and do their very best to accomodate your every need. Smart and friendly manager that is nice and tries really hard to run a nice hotel. The prices are comparable and I like the weekly rates. Way better then the first time we stayed here under the old ownership.
