HOT HOT HOT/RUDE BARTENDER As I am writing this review my room (according to my cell app) is at 81 degrees. I called maintenance and he said there was nothing he could do, the whole floor, especially west facing rooms are always hot and miserable. So, I went online to relocate, most everything is sold out. I asked if they could bring a fan, they have none. Add to this the bartender (male) was very rude, and acted like I was an inconvenience when ordering (06.19.2021). This hotel needs serious upgrades to their HVAC. Rooms are nicely updated, but no good if you can't stay in them because of the heat.

Checkin Staff Needs Schooling in Manners, Customer Satisfaction and meeting Customer Expectations The hotel itself was great, comfortable bed, great amenities. The problem was the checkin staff on duty late Thursday afternoon 6-10. The lady we dealt with, was not welcoming at all! She acted as if she’d rather be anywhere than assisting those checking in for the Oklahoma School Board workshop. Imagine how we felt knowing our schools paid out a lot of money for two days here and get treated as if we do not matter! Hopefully this will be our last trip here.

Suite was great, service was not I would like to give this place a five, based on the suite and the property as a whole, but having to beg for club lounge access as Bonvoy Gold (and actually hitting Platinum after this stay) was annoying. I was instead given free breakfast, which is great, but usually we're not up during the specific breakfast hours. We did not use the free breakfast for either night that we stayed. I asked a second person after checking in and was given the lounge access. The suite was great, and was actually two rooms, one with a king bed and the other with a sofa bed. Having two bathrooms was nice as well. The lounge was great because they were serving hot food (sandwiches) along with the usual snacks and drinks. There was plenty of free parking, wifi worked consistently, the room and property were clean and seemed new, and there were restaurants in all directions that were 5-10 minutes away. Both the WSJ and Tulsa World were available in the lobby, which I liked as well. Luggage carts were readily available and plentiful as well.

Nice rooms The rooms are nice. However, the food venues are not adequate. We were in Tulsa for a convention at the hotel and thought we'd have breakfast at the hotel restaurant. All that was available was a breakfast buffet. There is a Starbucks in the lobby and they did have breakfast sandwiches, but there was only one person working in Starbucks. There were always 6-8 people in line with a serving time of 5-10 minutes per person. I discovered that there was a McDonalds 2 minutes down the street and was able to drive there and return prior to the last person I saw in line just getting their food at Starbucks.

Disappointed as this could be so much better The rooms and lobby are quite nice, and food from the lobby bar was very tasty and reasonably priced. However, it just felt like the staff did not care. They just did the minimum. The hotel was empty, but we were put on the side with an ugly view of the mall roof. We did not get information on the pool or food options until we asked. Big signs saying the sports bar is “now open” apparently means just Fri & Sat nights. The alarm woke us at 6am (housekeeping should have checked that) and the showerhead was angled straight at the door. I am a Marriott Gold Elite member and have stayed at many Marriotts. I asked about the lounge and was told it is just for Premium and Ambassador which I’ve never heard of. That was minor compared with the other disappointments and the planned shutoff of hot water at 9am.
