Perfect location! I went for closing weekend and it was an amazing choice and very affordable to be in the village! Great customer service and easy convenient parking. It has everything you reallly need including ski storage. I also felt it was really cozy and had a quaint atmosphere… I’d definitely go back!

Don’t stay here prior to surgery This hotel is the budget hotel for Vail Hospital patients. It has the ideal location next to the hospital. But if you need to stay in Vail prior to a surgery DON’T stay here. The shower facilities are not appropriate for pre surgery bathing. The water is luke warm, the water pressure is weak, and the heater in the bathroom does not work.

Ski vacation This hotel is ideal for staying in Vail. Close to Lionshead Village about a 2 to 3 minute walk at about a 5 to 10 minute walk to Vail Village. The room is perfectly adequate. Comfortable beds and the bathroom is decent. I did have a lukewarm shower, which was not ideal but then hot water came on more later. There is a Starbucks literally next door in the lobby of the hospital Opens at 7 AM. There is also free coffee and snack breakfast in the lobby. There is a ski shop in the lobby. The outdoor pool was not open however, this was a disappointment. There is a very nice sauna and indoor hot tub. There is free parking in the parking lot, which is very nice to have. I did not eat in the restaurants or bar with so many options in town. I would recommend this lower price option in Vail as it is perfectly adequate for a ski vacation.

Evergreen lodge experience thumbs down I was not at all impressed with the evergreen lodge. It was run down and smelled weird. The restaurant was randomly open not during lunch or to get a drink. We stayed in a 2 bedroom condo which was clean but nothing fancy. Also housekeeping accidentally took a blanket that we brought when they were changing the beds and they never found it. I asked at least 10 times and they always said “they would check and get back with me” they never once got back to me after each time I asked. Also the door had a keypad entry which was great but twice random people just walked into our condo- neither of which worked for the hotel. Also there was no way to lock the door from the inside which was weird. Also the water was shut off for a few hours one of the days without being told about it. Overall I would not recommend staying here.
