if you like a place where the answer is always no (but said with a smile) this is your spot.! The best part was the view.... which Rock Resorts has nothing to do with. The service became downright laughable. Every time we asked for shuttle the answer was " we are so sorry but not now". Found children's toys under the bed apparently from previous guest. $50 per night for parking, cold coffee at breakfast which we politely mentioned and were told " it was probably in the pot from last night and was supposed to be fresh... so sorry. " Glasses and water pitcher looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks or the dishwasher was broken perhaps. . Could not even drink out of the filthy glasses. Our stay was for a week and we asked about room cleaning after a few days and were told "no promises but check the night before we would like cleaning" Plastic toilet paper roll goes flying every time you touch the roll. Had to go buy coffee pods for "in room coffee service" . Asked for a glass to use for cocktails in the room and were of course told" I am sorry but we do not have glasses because there is no room service now. . TV was not working and were told "it is property wide and should be fixed by morning. " Asked for a couple fresh towels and new paper cups before we left in the morning.... nope. but the third time we asked we got some. The bathroom is nice but this is no luxury property. Staff has been trained to say "no" or " I am so sorry" with a smile.

Beautiful views! Beautiful views and perfect location to everything! Because of covid, we have to request daily room cleaning and refills of coffee, sugar, cups, & towels. A little inconvenient, however, it’s a must that we have to do for safety reasons. Other than that, it’s a great hotel!

Unfortunately the place is not what it used to be.... Stayed for one night at the property. I was very excited as my girlfriend and her kids were staying there too so I got a room for my son and I. We arrived about 2 hours before check-in and asked for an early check-in. They were accomodating but our first room had dirty towels and garbage everywhere. Our second “deluxe room” was room 102 ground floor. Noisy as could be as it was right beside the valet and front door. There was nothing deluxe about it - not sure what I got for the upgraded room I paid for. There was the faucet handles there were falling apart - I called down to get them reparied but nobody came. My girlfriend's room was a regular room and it was nicer than ours. There was no hot water for the morning shower. Oh and the surprise $50 valet charge when I checked in. I reached out to them on Twitter four times to resolve with no response. Also, sent them an email - no response. Steak restaurant was fun to sit at the bar - that was a plus.

My Room was Trashed or What has 4 wheels and flys? I visited with my wife on April 29 -it’s off season but My wife and I just wanted to visit Vail for a day just to catch the views and because our daughters middle name is Vail- We stayed at the Lodge. No one to help with bags and basically no one around except for 1 person at registration. Hey we weren’t expecting much. Long story short it’s an ok place and very convenient except for 1 detail— The garbage collection outside our room went on for 35 minutes at 7 in the morning Front desk said we would get some kind of resort fee refund - nothing was open what resort fee?
