One of the better Hamptons. Nice location, excellent service Conveniently located adjacent to many places to eat and shop. Friendly and helpful staff made this multi generational stay pleasurable. Rooms are a bit smaller than similar properties in the US but was fine for us. With just two elevators, waiting for one can take a while during peak check in or check out times. The main entry is tucked away and right next to another hotel. You may miss it if not careful since the signage is not obvious. Even our cab driver missed it.

Great views in the top floor corner room Chose this for a short weekend trip to see some of the sites of Vancouver. We only live 3 hours away, but haven't really visited. Got a really nice corner room on the top floor facing BC Place. One negative... The BC Lions were playing a game on Saturday. Live Band, crowds, etc. Had AWESOME views of BC Place and the city, however all those windows meant the sounds from BC Place sounded like they were actually in the room. Breakfast was your usual mid grade hotel free fare with eggs, some kind of sausage patty, hunks of potatoes, waffles, etc. Nothing spectacular or stand-outish. Front desk staff was ok. We just made gold members and no one really cared or gave us any of the supposed benefits. Maybe next time. There were some great restaurants neary sort of, so we did a lot of walking (during the day only). Will we be back to Vancouver? Probably not, but if we do, think we will stay in the other Hilton and skip this one.

Very Comfortable Hotel by BC Place We enjoyed a great stay at this lovely hotel across the street from BC Place. We wanted to be walking distance to Gastown and this worked out well. Our room with comfortable king bed was spacious and colorful with a full wall of windows looking out. The bathroom was fine and had a normal door (not an awful sliding barn door like some hotels are using these days). There was lots of counter space in the bathroom which we appreciated. There was lots of storage space in the room plus we had a mini-fridge and microwave. Room lighting was very good and better than most hotel rooms we’ve stayed in. Housekeeping is done daily. Included breakfast is standard Hampton Hotel - perfectly fine choices but not elaborate. The top (16th) floor has a spacious workout facility, whirlpool, ping pong table, outdoor decks and laundry facilities, which are free (2 washers and 2 dryers) and which were very clean and worked well enough for us. Staff was polite and helpful if not overly friendly. Only minor negative was that our AC unit was quite noisy but we were so tired each night from touring this beautiful city that it did not interfere with our sleep. We would happily stay here again if we were back in Vancouver.

Front desk man was rude As a Diamond member you’d think I wouldn’t be questioned with the third degree attitude form the Indian man at the front desk when I told him I didn’t get my snack and water when checked in. It was literally a bag of chips and water. Then when picking up my stored luggage again acting like I was trying to claim luggage that wasn’t mine . Same man. He was so rude when I asked about leaving my car the day of checkout . Funny the next day the nice young lady offered for it to stay til 2:30! This man should not be at the front desk checking in guests. He has an unprofessional and unwelcoming attitude. Just because this was a rewards stay please keep in mind how many stays it takes to get one night let alone two. I shouldn’t have been treated this way.

Hampton Inn Standard in a Good Location A fine Hampton Inn in Vancouver - exactly what you would expect from a Hampton Inn. Standard rooms, standard breakfast and a great location downtown. We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The front end staff was polite and helpful and the room was cleaned daily. The one thing to consider is that the hotel is next to the stadium. I had checked that there were no games/concerts the week we where there, but I imagine the area would be more congested at those times.
