Good family stay close to Stanley Park Stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 5 adults recently. We had a Classic Suite with kitchenette, two separate bedrooms, dining and living room with a sofa and a double murphy bed. There were two bathrooms in the apartment, one en-suite and one just off the main living area. All in all the apartment was a great choice for a family; we were all comfortable, were able to make small meals if we needed to (the kitchenette was equipped with a stove, kettle, coffee maker, microwave as well as all essentials such as utensils, plates, pots, dishwashing liquid/dishwasher, kitchen towels, etc); and it was a much more economical option for a stay as a group. We didn’t use the parking as even dropping the bags off was a bit of a hassle (there was nowhere to park nearby even to check-in), so going car-less was a good choice. The location is great in a quiet residential area very close to the park and beaches/seawall. The one disadvantage was that there aren’t many restaurants in the area, other than a brewery, but we were able to order food in by using Uber Eats. The apartment is older and definitely needs some maintenance (some lights were not working etc) and some TLC soon enough; but it was clean and very comfortable. The staff were really good with quick check in and check out, and good communication. Mind you the reception hours are somewhat limited so make sure to follow the instructions and plan for late or weekend arrivals, etc. All in all, I was very pleased with our stay here, and would recommend it to others.

Pleasant stay with some fixable and one not so fixable issues Generally a nice location, convenient to shopping, dining and right down the street from Stanley Park. Spacious and well-designed units (likely conversions from apts), homey. Three main drawbacks... some of the basic maintenance is lacking (the bathroom door latch is held in place with a folded paper towel, and the mounting for the hair dryer is dangling by the wires because the dryer is mounted too far from the electrical outlet). The carpeting is old and worn, making the units seem more aged. These maintenance issues could be easily remedied with some simple hotel engineer intervention and the carpeting would require more investment in replacing. The 3rd issue is more difficult (or not practical) to fix... the parking is very tight, with very narrow and angled underground parking stalls requiring a lot of maneuvering to get in nicely (probably a product of yesteryears with smaller cars, not SUV's or minivans). Perhaps there needs to be a sacrificing of a couple of the underground spaces to make more room, especially since there are a few alley stalls at the back of the building. Overall, despite these detractions, we had a pleasant stay, but if at least the minimal maintenance problems were attended to, it would have been a much more fulfilling experience. Thank you.

Fantastic stay! We had a great week in Vancouver. Perfectly placed accommodation. Running, walking, cycling, food, shopping, parks, boat taxis all whilst feeling safe at night. I couldn’t think a better way to keep teenage daughters occupied. The accommodation was just what we needed. Practical, spacious with site amenities. Staff always helpful, especially for airport taxis.

Great Location with Great Service This was a great place to stay while in Vancouver. The location is right next to Stanley Park and a short walk to great restaurants and more. The manager was kind and helpful with suggesting places to eat and things to do. Our room was fairly basic, but it was clean and comfortable.

Disappointed What a disappointment! This is not the luxury hotel I thought I was booking but an old apartment building. I booked the Rosellen due to its location which was the only plus. But on arrival we had to unload our luggage in the street, struggle to carry it up several stairs, wait to be buzzed in at a locked door, then drive around and park in the alley, and finally walk up many more stairs. We could not put our luggage in the master bedroom as the foot of the bed was approximately 10 inches to the wall. The bathroom is small with the toilet the only area to place items when getting ready. Plus there was mold in the shower. We were also in the “classic” 307.
