Quiet, comfortable and close to everything! Excellent hotel located very conveniently to everything downtown. You can walk to BC Place for a game or concert. (2 blocks away) You can walk to Yaletown. Everyone who worked at the hotel from the valet to the front desk to the concierge were all very helpful and friendly and welcoming. We did not eat at the hotel. The maid service was excellent. Our room was always cleaned beautifully. The bed was so comfortable, and we liked having the separate bedroom with a nice living room area to hang out in. Air conditioning worked great on the 9th floor! There is an IGA, a small grocery store next door for snacks and drinks and whatever you need really. There is also a Tim Hortons where we got coffee and something quick in the morning. We used points for a queen room and were upgraded thankfully to a King room. We are only Silver status with Hilton these days. We lost our Diamond status after not traveling enough after covid, but the only thing we missed out on was free continental breakfast. It was very quiet, and I would definitely stay there again.

OVERRATED I am a Diamond member, but you would hardly know it from my recent stay at the Hilton Vancouver. The staff barely acknowledged my status and seemed indifferent. They informed me that, because there is no executive lounge, I would receive a 20% discount on lunch and dinner. Wow. What an offer. The breakfast experience was even more disappointing. It was subpar, even compared to the lowest-tier Hilton chains. While a continental breakfast was included, any hot items came with a $14 charge. Really? And to make matters worse, the hot items looked barely edible. The rooms and hallways are quite dated, more fitting for a Hilton in a mid-sized town like Kamloops, not a major city like Vancouver. Just a few days ago, I stayed at the Conrad Bosphorus in Istanbul and the Hilton Garden Inn in Bucharest, Romania. The difference is shocking. Even the breakfast at HGI was far superior. If they attempted such a breakfast setup at HGI, the breakfast manager, Daniela, would be so upset. The Hilton name does not belong on this hotel. It feels more like a Coast Hotel or a Holiday Inn. Additionally, one of the front desk staff wore a giant medical blue face mask, which was quite jarring and made me feel uneasy. Overall, this place is more of a three-star hotel than a four-star, and it is far from a five-star experience. The waitress was indifferent and seemed to care less about the guests. I visit Vancouver frequently, but this stay was truly awful.

Amazing staff makes this a great hotel There must be good management at this hotel because 100% of the staff we interacted with were amazing. Everyone was welcoming. They went the extra mile. We especially appreciate Arif at the Concierge Desk. It's a great location and the hotel is spotless. Our room was accessible with a very safe shower. We highly recommend this hotel. Tip: the hotel is in the shape of a grand piano.

Disappointed The hotel has a good location in downtown Vancouver. We stayed in a king bed deluxe 2 room suite which was very comfortable. The pool deck is also nice, if a little small so if its a sunny day the sunbeds fill up quickly. Also the pool bar is closed most of the time so no refreshments are available. Our main issue was with the breakfast. As Hilton Honors Gold you get the continental breakfast included and have to pay an additional $14 for the hot options. The continental for a hilton is below standard with basic options poorly presented. Other guests who want a hot breakfast go for the a la carte menu, hence the hot breakfast buffet sits untouched and looks unappealing and is only just warm, certainly not worth paying extra. Rather than offer this food to its most loyal Gold and Diamond members for no extra charge they throw it away. I find it disappointing that a major hotel brand is not engaging in reducing food waste. I asked reception for the General Manager Jeff Leung's email and send him 2 emails on this subject and he did not have the courtesy to reply to either. The service for breakfast was also lacking in warmth. We had planned on eating dinner at the hotel, but after the breakfast experience decided not to as there are many options a short walk away. We would not stay here again.

Great choice for family stay Great one bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the living room for a family vacation in a safe and convenient neighborhood in the center of the city. Lots of restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Hotel breakfast and bar were excellent. Concierge service was great. We recommend this hotel for family stays
