Danell, Amber and Melissa are great! I've been here quiet some time on business and this place is worry free, safe and feels like home for my family and I! Thanks for the great experience Kendra! We know we can always depend on you and your staff to take care of us!

Awesome ! This was an awesome experience. The staff was great and very accommodating. The rooms were great and at a great price. The hotel looks great inside and out and it's next to many restaurants and shops, which made our stay very comfortable. Joanne was great. We will definitely be back again.

Disgusting The room was covered in a film of grime. Chunks of old food, debris and dust bunnies on the floor. Food was slathered on the screen of the television. The remote had pet hair jammed around the buttons. Tables hadn't been washed. Wires hanging from ceiling where a smoke alarm had been. Front of microwave looked like a kid had finger painted. Non smoking room but the bedding has lots of cigarette burns. Bathroom sink was clogged and didn't work. Shower stall had missing bar so there were two big holes. Shower faucet was not mounted securely. Walls were nasty. At 4 in the morning someone pulled the fire alarm and had to deal with that fiasco. Many more to mention but don't have the time.

2 Reasons You Wanna Stay Here It is what it is. You get what you pay for. Whatever semantically saturated generic adage you prefer, this hotel is brilliant at being mediocre. You want to stay here for 2 glowing exceptions that must be mentioned: Denell and Melissa. I can’t say much about the rest of the front desk staff (the words “embittered, hateful, discourteous and passive aggressive come to mind), but the ladies who run the front desk in the evening, Denell and Melissa, will you make you feel like you’re safe at home. Thoughtful and thorough, Denell and Melissa are both very professional at their jobs yet somehow manage to make you feel like you’ve been friends your whole life! If I were rating the service on just these hidden gems, it would be a 5 star review. Other noteworthy features: the rooms are a good size, some with hardwood floors. And the location isn’t too bad. Maybe a little rough from first glance but I never felt like it wasn’t safe to walk around at night (note that I am a 30-something fit male so take that comment for what it’s worth). One of the only dependable bus lines in Vancouver passes right by the hotel so if you’ll be without a car during your Vancouver tenure, it’s pretty handy. This isn’t the most bike or pedestrian friendly city by any means. Thanks for reading! And thanks Denell and Melissa for everything you do! I appreciate you!
