Inn at the beach We stayed here for 2 nights after the leaving the Keys before heading back home. Hotel was super clean and right across from the beach. The water does have a slight sulfur smell but wasn’t too bad. Our room had a small kitchen area in it, which was nice. My biggest complaints was the pillows were very hard and uncomfortable and you could hear the kids from the room beside us slamming the door multiple times early in the morning. Would definitely stay here again if we’re ever in Venice.

Excellent stay at The Inn at the Beach! We had an EXCELLENT stay at the Inn at the beach for 5 nights! -The room was spacious, bright and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The pull out couch not as much but we managed. -Even though located directly across the street from the beach, it was extremely quit at night. You can walk on the esplanade, all shaded to the center of town which has excellent restaurants and shops. -We enjoyed Venice beach for a quick dip in the morning and to watch the sunset after dinner but we didn’t find it to be the best beach due to the sand. But this is a great location to drive to other local beaches such as Lido and Siesta Key. If your traveling with young children this is a great location as the inn is steps to the beach and it’s nice to be able to go back your room quickly if needed. -Resort fees—you have to pay them like most places whether you plan to use the amenities or not. I must have a beach umbrella and the one provided by the resort is really only good for one person as it was a small umbrella. The sun is hot and strong in July so if your traveling party needs an umbrella too your best off either going to the dollar store around the corner and buying one or going to a beach that rents one. -There is a Goodwill Store nearby and we bought for $5 a back pack cooler that was so handy to fill up with ice and cold drinks to bring to beach for the day. Grocery store is also right around the corner. We had an excellent vacation in Venice and highly recommend the Inn at the Beach!

When in Venice go to the Inn on the beach! Without a doubt I would go again! We were planning our next trip from the moment we got there and saw how close the beach was, really unheard of for the price. Staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome and gave some great recommendations for lunch and dinner! Our room was perfect only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great Location…Good Stay If you want to be near the beach you can’t beat this hotel - just cross the street and you’re at one of the major public beaches. The hotel is in a residential area at the end of the Main Street in Venice but it is rather quiet. The downtown area is about a mile away. The rooms are clean and comfortable but could use some updating. There are no outlets next to the nightstands and only one behind the bed occupied by the lamps and clock. The TV in our room would not power off with the cable remote, so we had to unplug to turn off the backlight. The water in the area also has a strong sulfur odor, so be prepared when you are in the bathroom. WiFi was not the strongest in the room but was able to support some streaming. There is a minibar area with fridge and microwave that even has a toaster and a few dishes (a nice touch). Breakfast is mostly local pastries and cold items but the coffee is very good. We were here for an event so we did not take much advantage of the resort fee amenities.

Location, location, location My husband and I stayed at the Inn at the beach for a few nights. What a wonderful place! Clean, spacious rooms, easy, close parking(right outside our door) and a great location. Steps to the beach and they provide beach chairs and towels! A quick walk in the other direction and a beautiful walkway lined with trees and beautiful homes. All leading to a cute downtown with shops, dining, etc A beautiful safe place to visit! Thank you for a wonderful time.
