Outdated Property I don’t know why this would be labeled as a Marriott property. It is far from what I expect from a Marriott hotel, even from their “budget” line. Location was nice, staff was friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately the hotel is very old and in need of a major renovation. I am a Marriott Vacation Club owner and have stayed in Marriotts around the world. This is my first real disappointment.

Big rooms and great location This hotel is one of two that are located in or around the Ventura Marina. We were going to Santa Cruz Island and so we thought that staying close to the point of departure would be a good thing. The rooms were huge and mine had a balcony over looking the marina. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. The minuses were that there was no place close to eat or drink. Due to COVID (of course), the restaurant in the hotel was closed and the nearest place to eat was the Marina Village about a mile away. So not the end of the world, but not very convenient either. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. I would stay there again

Great Hotel for Channel Islands Trip We stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton for 2 nights as a home base for our day trip to the Channel Islands. Our room was spacious and clean (with the only small issue being the screen door, which wouldn't stay on its track and was hard to open and close), the beds comfy, and the Front Desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The harbor location was great for catching an early boat to Santa Cruz Island. After the day's adventures we loved the fish & chips at Andria's in the Harbor Village, and the breakfast burritos at Harbor Cove Cafe were some of the best we've ever had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Most expensive pet resort ever and a lot of minor issues Pets are allowed which is great but we were very surprised to pay $75 per night and to discover they charge the same for 1 or 3 nights. Since we were there for a night I asked them to pro rate and got a no... then I tried to get drinks from a vending machine downstairs but was out of order so went to the second floor to find another broken machine...I asked front desk if they had any drink and there has only 3 bottles left which they charged me when I had been running around for 15 minutes to find water for my kids bottles. It was so inelegant... no spa no pool which we get, pandemic after all but then don t charge $75 a night for a pet, which is half the price of the room. This is mediocre and we will not stay again and will let our friends know especially if they have pets

Good Accommodations & Close to Harbor I stayed here for several nights and had a good experience. Staff is as courteous and rooms were clean. The accommodations are pretty basic, but acceptable. The main draw is proximity to Ventura Harbor, and it was worthwhile to stay here for that reason. One note is that parking is $12 per day and no security to patrol the lot based on the waiver you have to sign...just be aware of the extra cost.
