Noises all day and night This is by far the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at in 40 years and I stay at a lot. Screaming yelling banging you name it.Took my concerns to the front desk and nothing changed. If they would’ve stop the noise I wouldn’t have complained. I will never stay here again

Grim Have been coming here as a quick get away for years. Sadly the furnishings, carpets and even window treatments are horrible. There has been a steady decline. And I must mention the peeling wall paper and stained carpets.

Stunning location I must say I just wanted to listen to the waves from the Pacific Ocean. This hotel indeed has a fantastic location with rooms just at the beach. But the way you are welcomed to this hotel is not very nice. A stupidly high fee if you don’t return a key card, internet not working and very cold welcome. But the room is kind of charming and the bathroom was pretty good. Also a totally different and much warmer feeling when leaving the hotel by the check out staff. The location is the reason to chose this place.

Worn out motel with million dollar view Looking for a place to stay in Ventura that is right on the beach? This will check that box, but beware, this property is in dire need of some updating. The worst is the carpeting throughout. Worn and mildewed, it almost ruined the stay. However the million dollar view of the beach and ocean while the sound of the waves send you off to sleep, helps you forget about the stained and worn carpets, dirty chairs and general lack of attention that the owners have on full display at what could be a five star property with just some moderate updating. It’s not difficult - Pull up all the carpets and replace with wood flooring. Throw out the dirty chairs. The bathrooms have been updated (at least my third floor room). View and location 5 stars. Bathroom 4 stars. Cleanliness 1 star. So three stars. If you are not a clean freak, then you may be able to overlook the dirt and just enjoy the beach view. All rooms have ocean and beach views but second and third floor rooms provide unobstructed views as there is a wall blocking some of the view on the first floor.

amazing view its very tired and old lovely lovely staff and beautiful setting and no noise at all even though its on the freeway their covid policy is good and safe and secure i loved the outlook and sitting on the grass-we were only there overnight and it was enough
