Cindy and John are the best. I'm so glad I stayed at the Ocean Breeze Inn for 2 nights while Hurricane Milton was passing over Florida. I especially appreciate Cindy at the front desk helping me with information updates and about the hotel and neighborhood as well as chatting for a time. John searched to find more Coffee Mate so I could make coffee in my room. I also enjoyed talking with him. Since I'm 79 and was there alone my interacting with them made my stay more pleasant and less lonely.

Our experience First room assigned had roaches coming out of the bathroom sink. We were moved to a different room where the magnetic card that opens the door stopped functioning. An employee had to open it and at 4:00 pm, the room had not been cleaned or the beds made. Building is run down and unkempt. Lady that manages housekeepers (Judy), was extremely nice and apologetic as was her employee, Alex. Will try a different hotel on our next trip to Vero

Air conditioning wall units in rooms dies not cool the room sufficiently. Unfriendly staff. 1 out of 5. The air conditioning system is a wall unit that is insufficient to keep the hotel rooms cool. To summarize, I was asleep and awoke uncomfortabley warm. I noted the A/C was on high. I called the front desk whom did not sound too concerned. I had to request another room at 1 AM because the air conditioning was insufficient. The staff was unfriendlily noted frowning.

Nice stay at Ocean Breeze Inn in Vero Beach, FL We stayed four nights at Ocean Breeze Inn in Vero Beach. We got the room facing the Atlantic Ocean on the balcony. Our experience there was very good. We must of arrived just before the big crowd. Therefore, it was very relaxing. The room was very nice. We had a living room area, then the full bathroom and then the bedroom. If we go back to Vero Beach, we would not hesitate to stay there again.

A classic beach hotel, friendly, clean, safe with a helpful staff Clean, comfortable room. Air conditioning provided pleasant white noise and kept the temperature great. The front desk and other staff went out of their way multiple times to make our experience great. There is a solid selection of coffees and teas in the front desk area - would've liked another decaf tea choice than green tea, but the caffeinated teas were tasty. The pool was delightfully warm and pleasant. Deep enough that no one had to panic if a kid dove in, but small enough that no one had to panic if a kid dove in. The pool deck area was cozy, sheltered, and comfortable, with a (very cold) shower for cleaning off the chlorine, or sand from the beach. Access to the beach was easy, and there was a great, easy foot washing station as you got off the beach. My only caveat to this is I would also like a hose or shower for washing off bodies and boogie boards, but since there was that at the pool, that was fine. TV had enough selection for the very short time we were in the room wanting to have TV. Parking was a bit complicated. Apparently there are more rooms than parking places, so if you arrive after about 7pm, you will need to park on the street and move back to the lot before they start ticketing at about 10am. Easy to work around, but not fun if you arrive for your stay late. HOWEVER - the late night security guard (I missed his name) was AMAZING! He got a luggage cart for us, held a parking place on the street on a BUSY weekend, watched our car when we had to unload in the room. Huge thank yous to the security guy that was there on Friday, March 29.
