Cannot wait to stay here again We had high expectations of this hotel and they were exceeded. Pros: - incredibly friendly staff at front desk and concierge - bikes that we could borrow - everything in the room: comfy beds, plush bathrobes, Occitane products, fancy hairdryer, espresso machine - location (we could walk/bike everywhere) - advice given (great little maps with itineraries) Cons: - we had every luxury imaginable at this amazing hotel (free with our room) with the exception of a latte or cappuccino at breakfast. With unlimited espresso in the room, this did not make sense. Unfortunately, the drip coffee offered was not as enjoyable. - it came as a surprise that the ‘included breakfast’ was not open to the full menu. I apologize if I missed this information in making my booking. Had I known in advance the system (one of three breakfast options or $15 credit towards menu), that would have been no problem, but it was the only negative experience we had at the hotel. The breakfasts were delicious and it was okay to have to pay a bit extra for the soufflé pancake, but it would have been nice to know this in advance.

Lovely stay! We had such a lovely stay at Magnolia Hotel & Spa. We usually book Fairmont hotels, but after reading reviews we wanted somewhere quiet and a little more boutique feeling. The Magnolia did not disappoint. It’s a mix of classic charm and modern comfort. The staff were so kind and pleasant, everyone stepped in to help no matter what the ask was. The Courtney restaurant was one of the best restaurants we’ve been too - and we travel quite a bit. The rooms are very comfortable and clean - and the little touches like a motion activated under-vanity light in the bathroom and a Dyson hairdryer with all the attachments. We love how dog friendly the hotel is - they made our little pup very comfortable. Can’t recommend this hotel enough!

A total gem I have stayed twice now at the Magnolia Hotel and Spa. It is fantastic! I have recommended to a few friends who have also stayed on their visits to Victoria. The location is right in the heart of downtown yet just off the main strip enough to feel a little more quiet and removed from the mayhem of tourists when the streets are flooded with people. The service the best I've had - from the valets, to the front desk associates, to the room service. The rooms are elegant and beautiful with fantastic space in the bathrooms. Plus they even welcome travelers who are traveling with well behaved dogs. The icing on the cake is the Courtney Room adjoined to the hotel where you can have breakfast (and other meals I'd recommend too) which is top notch on the food quality with lots of gluten free options on the menu.

Our 3 day short trip to Victoria. The hotel was amazing. It was our 2nd stay. I do have to comment that the A/C couldn't keep up with keeping us cool. We had 2 rooms and experienced this in both rooms.
