Excellent stay! We booked this stay last minute in the middle of the night, due to a nasty experience at a different hotel. Boardwalk made my nightmare night so so so much better. The hotel itself is gorgeous. The view from our room was breath taking. Room was very clean. Sheets and pillows were very clean and super comfy. Bathroom had plenty of towels and washclothes. Plus the lotion, shampoo, conditioner and body wash were an added plus to have available! The room also has a full size kitchen , which is a big big plus while on vacation. Plus the extra amenities in the room, extra pillows and blankets, kitchen appliances. As well as a dishwasher! Soap and sponge(brand new mind u) were there complimentary. The pool and hot tub were great. Gym was an added extra we loved! And the hotel is secure after a certain hour, so safety is a big deal to them. As well as my family.

Wonderful Hotel By the Ocean I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I went during the off season and wanted an ocean view. The room was beautiful and enjoyed the amenities! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend for solo, couple or family trip!

Nice room and staff was okay I do not think the hotel is bad it just needs a little bit of attention in some areas. Pool Chlorine was overpowering the enjoyment of the pool area. My 8-year-old closed his eyes until I was able to get rid of the chlorine in his eyes. The room had an odor, and I am not sure what the odor was. The hotel itself was okay.

Nice Getaway This was a nice Holiday get a way! My only complaint is that the room was not what we expected. Instead of an ocean view room we were given a lockout room that was to small for my husband and I. It was smaller than a normal hotel room. We asked to be moved, but of course that would come with an additional fee.

Great Stay at Christmas Season The Christmas season always is a fun time to come to Virginia Beach. No crowds and usually the weather is good enough for beach/boardwalk strolling. And the advantage of the large drive through Christmas Lights display on the boardwalk. This resort is located along the display so from your window you get a nice view of some of the lights. Also near the pier. It is an older resort but the units are comfortable, well furnished, and the staff very friendly and helpful.
