Paradise on Earth— But Will Upcoming Changes Preserve the Brand’s Essence? Love, love Maui Four Seasons. From the moment I arrived, 4S transported me into a world of its own. Unparalleled in its design to other resorts, it made me feel like I truly escaped the daily grind through the cabanas, sanctuaries, the quiet gardens and the spacious room. Nestled in a breathtaking location is heaven on earth. The exceptional attention given by Eliza at reception, an angel in disguise, who made every aspect of my stay the reason I keep returning to Maui 4S . The dining experiences were equally noteworthy. Even the pool service was great. Kudu to all but especially, Travis, who one early morning went above board to get me a glass of milk to satisfy my desperate craving. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the drab color of the pool staff uniform. The setting of the resort exude elegance and vibrancy, but the dark flue grey uniform is out of place in this paradise. That being said, this small detail hardly detracts from the overall experience. If I could, I would return to this paradise a few times a year and stay for a few weeks at a time. However, the huge renovations planned for a pool in the quiet gardens, the new restaurant and other changes scares me because it is perfect as it, so why rock the boat? Will the tranquility, the intimacy the old fashioned experience the great service still exists we know it or is Maui Four Seasons going to become like any other big resort- loud in all its aspects. If I wanted a big resort feel like the splendid looking but huge Grand Wailea that’s where I would stay. And when I travel alone to escape the everyday doldrums and hard work, I feel safe at Maui Four Seasons and know that being able to enjoy peace and tranquillity by spending the day in one of their sanctuary will revigorate my body and soul. Thank you Maui Four Seasons, please don’t change, you are perfect as you are. See you soon.

A little overrated The property is beautiful. The staff was amazing and friendly. I checked in early to attend their complimentary yoga class. I got lei’d immediately upon arrival, but I was not welcomed with a welcome drink. Maybe they forgot bc I had to rush to yoga? But when I came back later when my room was ready, they did not give me a welcome drink. They did not explain to me anything about the property for the schedule. Fortunately, I inquired in advance via email before my trip so I knew about the activities and the shuttle. But they should offer this information when I check in. I shouldn’t have to ask. They didn’t even tell me about their amenities or anything. Just gave me a key. Plus, they had incorrect information about the outrigger canoe. It listed it was only available during weekdays, but that’s not true. They have them on the weekends as well. I also wish they made a bigger deal of my birthday. They did bring me a surprise treat but it was not in my room waiting for me and it wasn’t very good. The reception was nice, but I think my check-in service was below expectation. I loved the staff at the pool and the beach. So friendly. warm, welcoming , and accommodating. Enjoyed the bar at Ferrari’s, great espresso martini. The vibe was fun and social. They serve snacks w your cocktail. However, I think the bar vibe in the other areas of the hotel is lacking. Duo’s has a tiny bar. Spago’s bar isn’t even visible upon entrance into the restaurant, you totally bypass it. The lobby lounge is packed and you have to get on a waitlist, but the lobby isn’t as pretty as some of the lobbies in the other hotels. Really enjoyed the complimentary outrigger canoe tour. I wish I could have used the adult pool, but it’s was completely full! No one warned me about having to get on a list. Bc reception didn’t tell me anything. I didn’t even realize there was an adult pool until later when was at the main pool and a woman wanted the staff to place me somewhere else bc her child was sleeping. Overall, I still enjoyed my stay, but I wouldn’t say that it lived up to my expectation for a luxury hotel. I didn’t feel that I got what I paid for.

Amazing service! The service is spectacular, especially from Rowena who drops off complimentary smoothies, ice cream, etc as you lounge in one of the beautiful sanctuaries with a view of the beach and ocean. The hotel property is first class in every respect, and one of the best hotels in the world.

My New Favourite Hotel! This has to be the best hotel I think I’ve ever stayed at. This was my first time going to a four seasons and it was spectacular. As soon as you arrive you are welcomed by the valet staff and given a lei and taken inside. This hotel has so much and everywhere we walked it just got more beautiful. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and the manager came out to introduce herself also! The adult only pool was beautiful with outstanding views and the two restaurants were fantastic. The waiting staff at both were so nice! I have to highlight that we went to Spago on our final night and I had the best Tomato soup, Lobster (part of surf and turf) and dessert ( I don’t even know what it was called but it was at the bottom of the dessert menu and had banana sauce and they bought it out in a pan) I have ever had in my life. We had a few situations that we needed to talk to the front desk to sort out and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. We took the early morning snorkelling and swam with sea turtles and the helicopter ride around the Island with the pilot Derek, who was incredible. These excursions really gave us a taste of Maui and is 100% worth doing! The beach is beautiful also! I just can’t rave about this hotel enough. I have never experienced such incredible guest service before with staff that seemed to really enjoy working here! The hotel in itself is so gorgeous! If you are going back and forth on whether you want to splash out on staying here, just do it, cause I would do it again and pay more for what I experienced! I was so upset when I had to check out!

Four Season Maui Club Level Honeymoon Stayed at the Four Seasons Maui club level for our honeymoon. Everything was perfect - service was top notch, property beautiful, and activities aplenty! You do need to go early (7a-8a) to get the cabanas with the best ocean views, but there is plenty of seating even if you can’t grab those. Pool attendants will put towels down for you and come around with water and other goodies. Onsite restaurants are all great. The club level was definitely worth it. Unlimited food (changes for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and dessert) and drinks, and a dedicated concierge team to expedite your check in and answer any questions. Rafael, Maggie, and Pat were particularly wonderful. Everyone knew our name and made us feel like family, which is a testament to their professionalism as we only stayed four night. We will most certainly stay at the club level again for future visits! Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon!
